man 3 top players out in 1 game, on top of the injuries already sustained..unbelievable.

MacKinnon at half back Brown at fullback Daniela in centres Meaney on wing just another suggestion

I assume this suggestion is an attempt at humour?

another terrible suggestion

And why is that?? I"ll give you some reasons why Mackinnon can play half back .1/ Better defensively than Moltzen 2/Already a good support player 3/ Already plays a lot out of dummy half and would free Farah to play 1st reciever 4/Played at 1st reciever at times with Warriors Sounds TERRIBLY like a half back to me Tigerdale Most fullbacks in NRL can play in halves . Moltzen is probably a better choice BUT HE IS NOT READY TO PLAY 80 MINUTES YET . Some of us on the Forum who know about knee reconstructions will say the same thing .Give him a month please

I would put Moltzen at halfback and bring young Miller onto the bench, in a tight game I would send him on just for his goal kicking alone. He looks a good player for mine and lest face it if Moltzen is going well the bench back may not be needed.

Really hope Lui is out for a short time, he is the next star in our side, I for one a very glad he is with our side.

Deadly serious Willow I have given 4 reasons why he can in this thread , everyone is thinking attack attack attack we will need over the next few weeks defence to win Benji and co will get us around 20 points We need to keep teams to less than 20

He's not better defensively than Moltzen. McKinnon is a regular arm grabber and is no chance to play in the halves. With Lui injured people need to accept the fact that Moltzen is now the next best option. It's debatable whether he is ready to play 80 minutes, but he's going to get his chance now.

Ok…..we'll agree to disagree on this one because Moltzen will be named at 7 tomorrow and that's the best choice Sheens can make given Lui is going to be on the sidelines for the next month or so.

He will be named tomorrow at half I know that When he runs out of steam or redoes his acl who is coming on then or going to play the following weeks while Lui is out . I hope it all goes well But I have a real bad feeling Hope I'm wrong

LOL @ Mckinnon at halfback.
No thanks. Struggles enough as a fullback.

Only logical idea is Moltzen @ #7 and you all better hope he doesn't get injured because that'd push us over the edge.

They say you dont weaken on position to strengthen another…...if thats the case then you certainly dont weaken one to weaken another, which is what putting Mackinnon at 7 would do....ridiculous idea.
Thought it was a gee up so ignored it....WM is a bit of a turnstyle atm and slower than a wet week....he hasnt really done it for me yet this year....''safe'' I guess is a fair/generous assesment on him

Moltzen isnt ready for a full game I reckon.
He might be named in 7 but Ive no idea what Sheens might do with him, hide him on the wing ala Prince
Pierre - maybe Nadira in 14, come on for farah who goes to 7 when Moltz is blowing…..dont like it myself but its one option

haha yee i know just a thought cause hes had first grade experience and was thinking could be an option since we hae some depth, but id prefer moltz at half anyways.

Again my biggest concern INk that Moltzen is not ready yet to play 80 minutes and the stress this may put on him will do more harm than good . If he does knee again what next ??

for crying out loud. Lui too?

How's Ben Jeffrey been going for Wests? He might be a useful bench back with Moltzen playing 50 or 60 minutes at 7 then Jeffrey coming on?

Moltzen hasn't looked up to it yet but has to have first shot. Maybe the responsibility will make him aim up.
There's no way Miller would be ready yet.

Everyone has been harping on about Moltzen getting a start ahead of Lui, and now everyone wants to hide him in the centres or fullback when he should be the first choice halfback now that Rob is out?

Why is everyone so keen to butcher Jacob Millers development? From reports it sounds like the guy has attitude issues at times, so there's no need to stroke his ego by giving him a premature start in FG.

For those suggestions for Wade Mac at 7, he is a specialist fullback. Being a great support player does not constitute a great halfback. His kicking game is non existent and he has no organisational skills in attack.

Commonsense people:

Wade Mac at one.
Brown/Daniela left side.
Ayshford/Utai right side.
Moltzen at seven.

Fair dinkum, how bad is the injury toll?

Moltzen has looked very ordinary in the 3 matches so far this year. The attempted tackle on Ferguson was embaressing. He will come good eventually but I would be astounded if it is as soon as the next match.
