The difference is AD is not playing. It means Brooks can just take control with Api at the ruck. Wakeham is playing well and is happy to just be second fiddle to Brooks. AD didn’t like being a second fiddle.

He is supposedly a Wests Tigers supporter and I know he along with others in the media really get under our skin at times.

Having said that he is pretty much on point a lot of the time and is no more critical than we as supporters are at times, and you must admit that much of it is well and truly deserved.

Winning changes just about everything and why shouldn't he be just as happy as we are.

Well said, and Im in the same boat

Im happy if he can perform like this more often than not...no one expects something like last night, week in week out thats unrealistic, and unlike Sheens' ridiculous bullshit last night no one is expecting him to score seven tries a week either....just more consistency and less dud games, turn it around from the week in week out rubbish with a good game here and there to consistently good performances with the occasional blip, its not possible to play at your best all the time

Well done Luke, showing the potential we all were waiting for.
We're still last tho, but more than happy to extend contract if his form stays consistent. Will even shout Uncle Earl dinner if it continues, prob blocked me tho😘
 
If you take away ANY bias toward Sheens, Brooks or whatever & you JUST listen to some of the comments Sheens has made in the last week there is something I find very interesting in there:

Sheens signed Brooks as a 16 year old, saw him & Moses as the Tigers future spine, but never got to coach him until this year.

We are seeing SOMETHING of a career turn-around in the last month or so. Sheens has been on record as saying he WANTS Brooks as his #7 for the future.

I think Sheens is having a swipe at Tigers management, the previous coaches etc for where Brooks is at. Maybe as fans, as a club etc- we actually need to let Sheens coach Brooks & let him try & develop the player he envisioned at the beginning?
