Luke Brooks #167

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who played in this game. No matter what you think of how his career has gone, you have to understand that this is a guy who bled for this club. He puts his heart into every game. He leads our defensive line. There is a reason so many people who play with him support him. He is genuinely a such a good dude who puts in for his team mates.

And yes I am only his #27 fan so I may not have the status to heap praise on him. But I'm gonna do it anyway. Happy 200 Brooksy.
 
Credit where credit's due. Brooks played a fantastic game last night. (Gave him the 3 points). He was strong in all key facets of the game and, actually, looked like a leader. I've been one of Luke's biggest critics and I won't take back what I've said previously but, for last night, well done and congratulations on your 200th! Here comes the caveat though.......this standard needs to be continued if the Tigers are to keep winning!
 
The last few years he has struggled no denying that, but now with a proper coach who understands how to attack and unlock confidence I think we will see Brooks go from strength to strength this year. I would personally like to see him and Wakeham in the halves a bit longer, they are gelling now.

There's a human at the end of some of the insults people dish out. Rate him or not, no need for the crap people throw at him.
 
We played with tempo when we had the ball last night and Brooks seemed to play what was in-front of him with confidence and a clear mind.
There was none of the premeditated stuff that seems to have plagued him for ages.
Hopefully for him and the team this was a sign of finding ourselves rather than being a one off.
 
His form in the last month has been top shelf!! If he keeps playing like this we have ourselves a top shelf half!! Im so happy for him!! Even when he wasnt playing like this he was trying so hard!! I could not be happier for him and us!
 
I'm happy for Brooks.

He not only got the win, in an incredibly impressive fashion... but he looked like a guy that enjoyed what he was doing.

The support behind him last night was tremendous.
Moses & Grub turning up to support him, those custom shirts looked great.

Clearly Sheens and Benji are behind him and something is working...

I hope he is inspired & continues putting in performances like that. 50 Cent said, "If the haters hate, let em hate & watch the money pile up" but with performances like that - there won't be many haters.

Well done to the club for putting on a good show for Brooks 200th and well done to Brooks for putting on a good show for us, for his 200th.

Time to shine.
