I think it’s fair to say that the two clowns involved in that brain dead decision are vilified just as much, if not more than Brooks.

The difference here is Wests are not tweeting congrats to Pascode on his new haircut.

They’ve also disappeared from the game completely.

Such a weird thing to publicly post. Obviously trying to make out we treat people well on the way out, but after collecting another spoon it's probably best to stay out of the media until you have something positive to announce.

That's what I made it to be that they wanna show we don't treat people badly when they leave us but then he takes a potshot at others in the same article. Which one is it Richo?

Stefano, Papalii left not because they're quitters but their goals don't align with ours. They're not leaders, they're followers. They don't take pride in getting teams from bottom and move them up, you need certain characters for that and it's good they realised that and moved on before we wasted a decade on them.

This club is just awkward and weird..

You are talking about a 200 gamer during a horrendous period, not a couple of two season blow-ins.

Building club culture involves recognition for those who gave to the cause.

And before his win-loss record gets brought up again, he’s proven to everyone he could have had a much better career elsewhere, in 6 months at Manly.

So has Talau and Garner, and Laurie etc…etc…etc… Brooks is not on an island with that.
He is very lucky to have DCE and Turbo and even with them, he only just got there.

In no way am I trying to say Brooks is the main man at Manly. That’s simply untrue.

I only ever argued that he was a competent first grader at WT weighed down by an extremely poor roster since about 2017. He did show loyalty and while he was overpaid (none of us truly know by how much) he turned down opportunities to leave.

The other players you mentioned are very fringe first graders at best. Their pay and standing in the NRL is about right.

Garner is not fringe. He played all of Penrith's important games last year, winning a ring as a starter. He is doing the same again this year.

He’s the opposite of Brooks at Tigers mate.

Running downhill amongst a sea of stars.

He has qualities in his game no doubt, can put on a good shot and run a good crash line in good ball.

Just don’t ask him to do the hard yakka.
