Hopefully Doueihi to 6, Hastings to 7 and Brooks gone.
Then if Doueihi and Hastings don't show us they have it see you later. Laurie has to prove himself as well. He should be trying to make the fullback spot his own.
We have 3 spine players who need to show they are worth sticking with over the next couple of years.
Brooks leaving means those guys get more opportunities which means we more opportunities to judge them.

Not bad with some interchangeable parts.
I think pre season training and trials very important, may sort out a few things, like is Laurie up to NRL 5/8, are he and Brooks the best fit, is Dooway better as a right centre at 3, is Staines the answer at FB etc:
Or do the new brains trust have other ideas( and players). It’s certainly going to be interesting times ahead.

There is a long time to go before the season starts. Let's see what happens. It's not even Nov 1 yet and a lot can happen up until pre-season starts.

I may need to stand corrected , just re read the article( The Mole) and it says the Brooks/ Klemmer swap is definitely off but Sheens has reiterated he wants Brooks, and perhaps Klemmer as well, for 23.
Brooks or Douhie are neither organising halves with a decent kicking game.
They play 5/8 rolls. Think Douhie should be centre myself. Hasn't done enough to justify at 5/8th

This is the way it may play out as well. At the same time it's like when Gus says the Dogs aren't looking to sign Ciraldo and they sign him for 5 years.
We just have to wait and see what happens.
