I watched the Knights game today and am inclined to agree that Hastings isn’t the answer either.
The fact that Knights have scored more points than us certainly hasn’t come down to Hastings - more likely Ponga, Dom Young (top try scorer), and the rest of their back line. The other side of the game is D which also should be compared.

Brooks offer is a fair one 550k p.a. Anyone talking halfback money hasn’t watched our games for the past decade. I like brooks as a running 5/8 but you can’t pay him like Adam Reynolds, DCE he's just nowhere near the mark.

5/8ths on average earn more than halfbacks. At worst they are similar.
