The best thing going for Brooks at Manly is that DCE will do all the thinking.. because I don't think Brooksy is the sharpest tool in the shed.
He should have been moved out of being the main playmaker here years ago.
Just goes to show our coaching staff didn't have a clue... they even booted Hastings, who could have done the job and let Brooks do what he does best and run, only for Brooks to turn his back on us anyway.
In saying that I wish him no ill will... but hope he ends up playing reggies.

Has Brooks played a game of NRL for Manly yet? How do you know we stuffed up anything? Didn't the same shit get said about Tuilagi after he scored a try for Manly in the trials

Except that had nothing to do with my original reply. Ink said ex players regularly re-surface as points of discussion. I reckon I could count on one hand the amount of times I have read Luc and Aloiai’s names since they left. Majority of ex players still don’t have threads devoted to them. Talk about Brooks all you want. Just don’t pretend it’s not out of the ordinary to put this much constant discussion into an ex player.

C'mon mate? Manly were down 0/6 when Brooks took control of the game to score, then set up 3 tries, showing his class. Brooksy was often our best on park and won more Kelly Barnes awards than anyone. Not to mention the Dally M Half.
I still cant believe the club lowballed him and pushed him out with a BBQ when the Coach wanted him?
 
Regardless of what everyone thinks of Brooks, he’s not here anymore. I’m sure he’ll still be talked about a bit on here as the season progresses and when it starts, but all parties needed the fresh change. He’s moved on and so should we.

You being serious right now? Taane Milne was legit the only player from Souths Top 30 to play in that game so Brooks showed his class carving up their cup team? 🤣 🤣 🤣 By all means if he's doing this when the NRL season comes around say as much as you want but fkn hell he played 1 trial match against reserve graders
