Well if they pay me $550K a year I'll tell you. Moses the Parramatta guru kicked out on the full. You champion kicked dead to give them 7\. 2nd half was woeful. You guys didn't show the smarts the be earning the big dollars.

I'm surprised Brooks' chin didn't get erased after all the rubbing he gave it. But seriously, to just say "I don't know what happened in the 2nd half" when we all saw what happened in the 2nd half is just dumb!
 
Dude, we had 2 players off injured and Nofo limping the whole game. Brooks played well tonight. Considering we almost beat the premiers under those circumstances, I am proud.
 
I'm hailing the bus that has smart people driving it. You don't kick out on the full and you don't kick the ball dead. Neither kicker were injured.
 
Bit harsh on Brooks I think. I think this was one of his better games, especially defensively. Not his fault his mate Mr. Parramatta played like a dog. That's what happened in the 2nd half.
 
we were completely out on our feet, our attitude and defensive resilience has improved immensely since cleary got here.

every single game we've been able to win or have won, against very good teams too

we had that game if they didnt injure 2 of our best players and the video ref wasn't overwhelmed by gallen's heroics
 
Brooks was really good apart from some dud plays. Moses just had dud plays. We need Brooks to improve on that performance. We need Moses out of the team.

I don't know what he could state about losing the game. Should he come out and say Moses is a dud.
 
Yes he made a couple of big errors but he was a lot improved last night

He missed Trex once only, from there on he hit and stick

He took the line on
He created chances

I liked what i saw, i think he will grow with confidence and come out with a better game management.

Usually i'd be sticking a boot into him but with a performance of the last couple of weeks he doesnt deserve it.
 
It is easy to criticise after the event as to what happened in the second half.

I don't think it is hard to criticise the right person - I think you are being harsh on the wrong person.
 
You've misquoted one part of his interview and condemned him for it.

He said "I don't know what happens in the second half", as in, he doesn't know why our performance drops. He did well last night. Not perfect, but he is standing up in a pretty difficult environment. Full season of master coaching and he will be a gun next year. Confident.
 
He put a hit on fafita and made him knock on because of it… there's nothing average about this kid... there never is whenever his forward pack have a dig... our forwards didn't even dominate, but they had a red hot crack and gave brooks more time to play his natural game.. stoked with his D this game.
 
I just posted on another thread about Brookes but the thread disappeared. I saw nothing wrong in that thread. It's not the first time I've seen threads disappear here for no apparent reason. Do the moderators just randomly delete threads they don't like?

Back on topic. Brookes played really well I thought. Nofo was limping around and Woods and Tedesco were gone. Had to have affected their game.

I've had the same thing happen to one or two of my topics without any explanation. Also, lately, I wrote a thread about Ryan Hoffman and James Gavet in the Contract Discussion section only for it to be swallowed up into the Signings Ideas mega thread.
 
Brooks wasn't to blame, he did everything he could to help get the Tigers over the line. His housemate on the other hand…yeah, that was Moses worst game in Tigers colours.

Well written Blaze. Brooks' performances have improved under Cleary and will only get better with a more dominant pack. Unfortunately his halves partner has not matured at the same rate and it is unfortunate if that was his last game for WTs it will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.
