I know you have a dislike for Brooks as it has been shown on here many times champ...but he is in the 6 now where he always should have been with a decent 7,before you say he had Benji,that legend was there for him self and was always overcalling or controlling Brooks...
Hastings is the man we needed 4/5 years ago and now he is showing the way and Brooks will get better with him in charge...Brooks has a good running game and is a great defender...dont want you wiping the egg of your face come the end of the season...
Douhi is weeks away and has yet to cement a spot,atm he is the go to man because we had no one else and thats all Madge had to work with,AD isnt the messiah some on here think he is,as far as Im concerned Hastings leaves them all for dead....out for 3 games and we look like crap in he comes and we win 2 straight with his great leadership,I see Brooks positioned himself well to slot the final field goal...champion on the improve and I have knocked him many times,but I give everybody a chance,especially in this tough NRL world....

I remember in off season, some through around the quote : "moving the goal posts" and claimed Brooks will never lose the #7 jersey...
Lots of twists and turns in the careers of a rugby league player.
