Robert Lui actuallyA Halfback wins you a comp. Luke will never win us a comp. Last time we had a half back his name was Scott prince. Time to go Luke. Thanks for the memories.

Sorry , but you are comparing a good side with less intimitating opposition to a very ordinary side with severe problems. The 1/2 is a link between the forwards and the backs, Brooks had neither good forwards or good backs, and his 5/8s were crap. Prince was good, -- not great. Reynolds at Souths basically has a kicking game, is tough, but not a genious like Thurston etc. These halves you compare him to , were in great sides with great 5/8s and good all over the field. People should compare apples to apples.A Halfback wins you a comp. Luke will never win us a comp. Last time we had a half back his name was Scott prince. Time to go Luke. Thanks for the memories.
I'd be more than happy if he is just an attitude-changing player this year. Kick some blokes up the arse and let them know that halfhearted garbage on the field and on the training paddock isn't good enough. That'd be a great start.I don’t think he’ll be bad per se, but he’s not going to turn us around, which is what I think a lot of people believe he’s capable of. He’s not a game changing signing by any means
Better than any trophies we’ve won in the last 9 years with superstar Brooks 🤣I give it 15 mins before he realises he’s not in Kansas anymore. Trophies in super league are nice but…
Rubbish. It’s a 17 man game and Andrew John’s couldn’t get our mob anywhere near a GF. Have a look at the sides he went to grand finals with.A Halfback wins you a comp. Luke will never win us a comp. Last time we had a half back his name was Scott prince. Time to go Luke. Thanks for the memories.
Shoot your arrows at the men building the team not the poor bloke who has to try to and make them look good.Better than any trophies we’ve won in the last 9 years with superstar Brooks 🤣
Good teams make average playmakers look good. Bad teams make good playmakers look average. In fairness I thought Robert Lui was good for us apart from his off field antics.
That’s classic 🤣That’s it in a nutshell. Feel like I have been saying forever that the step up in class from ESL is off the planet. Thankfully this will be seen by everybody in the next few weeks.
exactlyclook at Johns in 2005 finished near last with a floating turd of a teamRubbish. It’s a 17 man game and Andrew John’s couldn’t get our mob anywhere near a GF. Have a look at the sides he went to grand finals with.
I'll argue in favour of Brooks as well.Sorry , but you are comparing a good side with less intimitating opposition to a very ordinary side with severe problems. Poor bloke? PffftShoot your arrows at the men building the team not the poor bloke who has to try to and make them look good.
Was thinking that, or that he was addressing @The_Patriot that he may have on foe and as such cannot see his direct posts.I think you two guys agree.....might have missed the sarcasm
Nobody can argue with any credibility that Brooks has had enough good players to work with. Year on year our retention and recruitment is the pits. Don’t get me wrong he’s not in the top 5 in halfbacks in the game, but in my opinion we’re bottom 5 in so many other areas that directly affect wins and losses.Poor bloke? Pffft
Our highest paid player who has had the team changed so he can ‘own it’ year after year.
I’m just hoping Hastings can somehow put some fire in his belly (although highly unlikely with Brooks).
Prince was great. One of the best. Always moving forward with the ball at speed and putting the defence on the back foot. Always making the right decision. His team was scoring 50 points regularly with a no name backline. How is he not great?Sorry , but you are comparing a good side with less intimitating opposition to a very ordinary side with severe problems. That's very definitive. That’s it in a nutshell. Feel like I have been saying forever that the step up in class from ESL is off the planet. Thankfully this will be seen by everybody in the next few weeks.
It's a topic thats like a dogs chasing it's tail, you'll never get it [love watching a dog chasing it's tail]Agree.
And 9 years to prove himself sounds fair 😂.
We’d be hot favourites for the spoon if we let him go to Newcastle and had Madden in the halves all year. We’re a bottom 4 squad with Brooks - and a Wooden Spoon squad without him
