Most of it - Cronk came good when it mattered…

That’s what champions do.

I thought he was a chance most of the year - he Bradbury’d it… the other guys had an off year all at the same time.
but he can only play what’s in front of him - and for most of the year… there wasn’t anyone

Plodders. I like Twal but between him and Mikaele they haven’t scored a try in about 10 seasons. It’s not much of a platform and puts too much pressure on the spine.

Hopefully some upgrades coming though.

Pele > Mikaele
iPapz & Nikora > Luc, Kelma, Garner

Need a prop to replace Tamou & Offa


If we get those deals and a few more done we're moving in the right direction away from these duds.

Twal is a worker and we got him locked, good club man so he stays.

Six games he got 3 Dally m points. 4 points off claiming the Dally M. That’s the reason why he was halfback of the year.
Moses did similarly the following year and everyone was just like yeah well of course he deserves it.
Credit where credit is due in 2018 he won the award.

Wasn’t disagreeing with you at all - that year, he was the best and most consistent half back…
Pretty sure the position awards aren’t always calculated on points.

Plenty of other halves missed games that year and others had to share points with other stars.
You really think he was better that year than Cleary, DCE, Cronk, Pearce, Reynolds etc?
Best half of the year?
Must have played SOO or for Australia?
No.
Must have at least have been considered?

They were quiet that year - yes he was better…
Had an argument with a good mate a month out that he was playing better football than all the above mentioned for the most part of the year.
Cronk just got to the roosters, - Panthers had all the scandals and had a crap year (I think) manly got off to a shocking start.. Parra won the spoon…

You must have been so shocked when he wasn’t even considered for big rep teams then?
An example from the other halves : Panthers actually ran 5th - with Cleary missing 8 rounds with injury and then the SOO rounds.
Really think Brooksy was a better player than Cleary that year?
