A decade of "highlights" which is close to 30 seconds once you take out the slo mo / replays of different angles and people still think its "insert brooks defence here"'s fault.

Amazing. The cult of Brooks is something else.

Agree, irrespective of anyone's opinion of Brooks, the team's strength (currently our inexperience) is a barrier and him not having other experienced playmakers - to add that extra dimension to our attacking structures - has always been a disadvantage for the side.

Caught Cronk on NRL360 talk about Adam Reynolds and discuss that he still needed to fill his job description but play to his strengths.
While it irritated me a little, as he's never exactly played in a struggling team, it did make me consider that there's a vast difference between the demands/needs of the top and bottom teams - to be winning games. That the more weaknesses the lower teams have, the more duties certain key players will have added to their roles.
They may in fact be adept in their job but it may have little impact on the team's result because their contribution is insignificant/not sufficient in terms of what is required from the team to win or succeed.
That perhaps he's not meeting all job requirements because we don't have surrounding players with key characteristics, the talent or skill set. That our performance level is in fact tied to the team's capabilities and not one player.

Creating a thread to highlight his poor NRL career is a little obsessive and overstepping the mark a little.

Considering the club released that video on YouTube with that title does that mean the club are overstepping the mark a little here?

Souths missed the eight a couple of years in a row and the Broncos team he's joined is hardly world class. Reynolds is a premiership winning half and has steered the Bunnies to many finals series, he would know what it takes.

I think if we didn’t get rid of Sheens when we did, none of those guys would even be playing footy anymore.

You are creating a infinite loop of excuses here that the cultist will not be able to answer or process.

On one hand its official club release but it does paint a bleak picture for their saviour that's undeniable if you watch it.

Nikes and coolaid are not the answer you freaks. There is no comet coming to save the season. The only thing in the air is another misplaced midfield bomb from Brooks.

Should we be praising him for essentially stealing money from the club? A real man would admit he's not performing to the expectations of the role and seek a release. He's just happy to collect his paycheck. Bugger him.
