One of the best things potter did was not listen to farrah by not rushing brooks and Moses onto first grade. They would not of had that luxury with Sheens.

I think he picked it up from Thurston who quite often tries to steal the ball/ dislodge it rather than tackle the man. Leads to a number of misses but also Brooks did force a number of turnovers.

Just on that point, I remembering reading at some stage that Brooksy was in the top 5 players in the NRL at forcing turnovers

I think you guys are being very generous. His defence was very bad this year and it didn't get any better as the year went on. If anything I think his defensive issues have been down played.

Brooks and Moses are often grouped together as bad defenders, but I think Moses is much more committed in defence.

For the most part, I agree that the defective defensive structures of the team contributed to much of Brooks issues. He was isolated frequently.
