I will give an example. when Twal made the big break a few weeks back Moses backed up and made the try. Who was next in line to get the ball - old man Farah not youngster fastman Brooks. Farah may have been on the old slow North Coast Motor Rail but he was there. In the Doggies game the other day one Morris twin was on the opposite side of the field to his position backing up his bro - he was hungry for the ball. In the middle of the season one game in particular one would not have known that Brooks was on the field. Active players hand around like a bad smell searching for an opportunity, that's it, it is Brooks Brylcream hair lotion and aftershave he does not want to be a bad smell. Give me that pic of Farah looking like a smelly, unshaven, old and dirty skunk any day.
Your belief that Brooks is not seen in support enough is absolutely, categorically, 100% incorrect. It's just factually inaccurate. He is one of the most active support players in the entire competition.
From NRL.com - top five "player in support" totals for the 2018 season:
James Tedesco: 563
Chad Townsend: 562
Michael Gordon: 554
Luke Keary: 514
Luke Brooks: 480
Care to have another go?
He must have been very busy in some games but others you would have to send a search party out for him. It is not only me noticing it. But when he does so many poor grubbers sometimes less is more and more is less.

@ said:My position reminds me of playing chess against about a dozen players simultaneously and I have never lost a simul but I don't want to sabotage a thread for an young guy who has won awards so good on him - enjoy.
@ said:If we didnt get ripped off by the refs against Brisbane and managed two more wins we wouldn't be arguing about where we sit now
I hope the boys learn from this years results
Just because we beat the top teams doesn't mean we make the finals
We need to lift more against the lesser teams
If we did that we would be talking about this weeks game
You cant point the finger at a couple of players
Every player in our team missed tackles
dropped balls
And bombed try's
It was a collective effort from the team
It was Brooks best year
Hopefully next year he steps up again along with every other player we have

It's a bit bizarre isn't it. Is that Robbie's mum ?
@ said:Dame those players making Brooks look bad , a bad tradiie always blames his tools .. maybe next season Brooks can hope those around him on the park pick there game up !
@ said:Pretty sure that I stated it at the time, that amongst others, the worst thing about Farah coming back was always going to be bringing BBF back from the burrow with him. I can cop the other stuff and find some interesting, but his worship of Farah is way beyond ridiculous.
Like a good amount of others, I think Brooks is generally better sans Farah and was probably the form half of the competition for the majority of the season.

Imo - Farah has cost him the Dally-M.

I think you've been misunderstanding the object of chess all these years…

Lol.
If it wasnt for Farah, we'd still be playing Elijah Taylor at hooker and running dead last with Parramatta

And our crowds would be down to zero and zero tv ratings etc etc
