Moses is a real loser. Is he Brooks manager or his father?

Sure is

Also glad his nephew is as big a loser

If he was as loyal as Brooks and stayed we would have been stuffed as long as his contract was

Losing him was a blessing in disguise

Tedesco, Woods and Moses can all reflect on the loyalty demonstrated by Brooks. Sure does reflect the integrity of the man.

Agree

He agreed to terms a long time ago as I mentioned awhile ago, just the final year was a sticking point & Issac Moses made it a bigger issue than it needed to be.
He wanted it to be 4 years in total & not an option as the final year. Made his threats & tried to play games with the club but we didn’t budge.
Glad it’s finally done now & one big piece of the puzzle locked in.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.

Thanks pom. Do you know anything about spot number 30 you can pass on.

Holding out for that right name Centre, also was meant to have another spot with McQueen given his marching orders but since the whole coaching situation erupted that has now died & looks to be staying. Unless something to good to pass up comes along spot won’t be filled till next year.

cheers for the info.

That's the spirit Brooksy, Get that up ya Roosters, you thought you had him for 2020\. $3 million over 4 years, that's $750k a year for the Dally M halfback of the year, probably far less than what the Roosters would of offered him. Knowing the Roosters they probably would of offered him $900k a season with about $350k extra a year in brown paper bags.

Very important for a player like brooks. He’s a confidence player and with this now sorted he just needs to focus on doing his job. If liddle stands up this year we have the basis of a top 4 team with additions in the right places.

Bit of a whisper out of the Wests Tigers that Luke Brooks might be close to agreeing a new deal. If so, great coup for coach Michael Maguire and great show of loyalty by a kid who could have earned millions by starting a bidding war on the open market

Cheers tigerap

Let us know if you hear any other good news

Club is hoping for McQueen to move on but as it stands today there are no takers…..last spot is reserved for a quality centre..no hurry to fill...

Yeah I think we are stuck with McQueen

Brooks on news tonight saying he wants to take control and run the team around…YAWN !yes Luke heard all that before . Anyway he is a competent 1st grader now to sign someone that actually CAN run the team.

Any idea on how much he signed for?
Personally I hope it was a significant increase on his last contract as he deserves it.

Stoked that he re-signed.

If it's 3million over fours years that would make it 750k per season. I assume he is still on 550k for 2019.

Same coin as Reynolds.

Liked what he said ie madge coming in and being a successful coach. I'll take that as a subtle jab at Cleary.

Yeah imagine if we had 16 other 1st graders who didn't have to be told what to do..rugby league players not to bright huh..

Then I think you’d be looking too much into it. It’s routine to talk up the coach when he’s new and you’ve just re-signed. Nothing to see here.

Mehhhhh

Wake me up if and when he goes to the next level. Until that happens none of us know if this is a good signing or not.

Thanks for all the info. So the $3m over 4 years is the estimate of Brent Read. Cool. Sounds about right, probably.

I'm glad we don't know exactly how much, because then our competitors would know, and why show them our cards?

All this talk about another centre. What if Mom comes good? We won't need another centre then.

Our “competitors” probably would know what he’s being paid. I am sure they would be informed what we’re offering him and if they are willing to match or better that offer. Only us plebs are left in the dark.

Well that would be a much better headache to have than if he doesn't come good and we have nobody else…

Moses will probably ring a few of his journo cronies and throw them some inflated figure that makes him look like a master negogiator.

Yeah good point. The player managers would pass that on in a heartbeat, aye.

Dally M half of the year.
At 750k a season.
In the origin frame last year and was our best player last year.
Mmmm wonder what else he needs to do?
I guess that next level is different for everyone but I thought he went he went to that next level last year.
Had 4 different 6s
5 different 9s
And 4 different 1s
Around him, hopefully a lot more consistent team chosen for 2019 might help him reach your standard.
