What has happened to the Brooks vigilante committee? I had to do a search to find this thread?

On temp bans. I was given one on April 5th Eels live game thread for calling him hopeless.
Now I stay out of here so I can remain on the forum.
Opinions are welcome as long as it goes with the forum hierarchy.

How would you explain the preceding 241 pages? 241 pages of Brooks love? This is the 242nd page of predominantly Brooks bashing but YOU and only you were banned. Nothing to do with anything else you did or said.

So if you don't like someone's opinion it should be silenced with a 21 day ban?
I didn't break any forum rules.
I don't participate much anyway seeing admin holds grudges so I'll go back to lurking.
Enjoy your echo chamber of sycophants.

You're here now, relax and move on...

good on Madge for making the switches that now are showing better results…

Especially as those switches were loudly criticised, and there was a sense his job was on the line. The forum almost lynched him when the Doueihi Mbye switch was made.

I dont buy a coach makes a player play better epecially when he his in seventh season in FG on marquee money . If a player has got all the skills like Luke has its up to him to demonstrate it every week. I have never expected him to win games on his own, but if he plays crap he owns it just the same if he plays well.

Who exactly does have some influence over a players form? Does a player manager? A coach? How about teammates? What about family and friends? Tedesco says people would be surprised to learn how much influence a player manager has, is he right?

Been a busy man 6/10 ...missed 3 tackles in the 1st half

he either defends like a beast and can't attack or attacks well and defence goes to crap

I’ve noticed a little more gusto in Brooks’ kicks lately. No more mr nice guy with that ball, it’s going higher and longer now.
Would it have anything to do with the whisperer?

Or Hastings coming?

It’s a cop out if it’s the fact Hastings is coming

Depends on who you are conversing with twentforty.the fanboys will scream the coach cant coach and the haters cant see the improvement in the individual now that the deadwood is slowly going and positional changes have been made to suit the team ...not the player...

I thought his defense was pretty good...he had to clean up some of Talaus poor defensive positioning a couple times

The missed tackles were probably from when he made first contact with a big bopper and was shoved off

TT, Cleary had Brooks on fire at WTs, not at the Panthers. We have gone backwards under Maguire and I cannot understand why he hasn't been shown the door. Beating a sadly depleted Dragons' team means little. Start crowing when we are in the 8 and can beat the top teams.

I’ve always thought the club went backwards under Cleary. Sure we may have won enough games to hold down ninth spot on the ladder, but in many ways we were victims of Cleary’s agenda. We probably retain Teddy if not for Cleary.

Teddy had already decided to leave because of Jason Taylor. It had nothing to do with Ivan. He was mentally gone before Ivan arrived.

Moses was a lost cause. Difficult to know exactly without being privy to the quid pro quo deals, but it involved WT denying a player manager being employed at the club and Cleary giving Teddy a deadline which I interpreted as a push, same with Woods. Cleary then went about trying to sell us on the idea that the loss of 3 of our ‘big 4’ would free up cap space enabling us to recruit such wonderfull players like Mbye, Reynolds and Packer. Teddy is quoted as saying he probably would have stayed if he wasn’t given that deadline. If you think we did well under Cleary then he’s a better salesman than I thought.

Give me one reason to believe that?

Further to the point, if WT had employed Wehbe , would things be different?
