Brooks kicking game is much improved in the last few games. Most likely as a result of the forwards having more go forward and giving Brooks more time.

Nor much has changed with his kicks tbh... he’s ‘ gawd why did Brooks put up a useless bomb on the 5th’ has been landing 10m out pretty much all year... the chase and contests however have improved 100% the last few weeks

His kicks have been deeper even from further out ..
Previously they were landing 20+ meters out ..
You’re not being honest.

Not really ..some did ..hence mostly..

Nah
Up until the last few games his kicks have been predominantly up & unders

Only the last few games have his kicks had a longer trajectory and more air time giving the chasers more time to get down the field.

Much improved.

I've got them on IQ..you can come over ..re-live the moments v Cows Manly and Titans and mark em..

You believe what you want ..
He’s always been brilliant in your eyes

C'mon mate, take him up on the offer....
He's trying to make a new friend.

What he said...

Who’s he when he’s at home ?

Our forward momentum gave Brooks the opportunity to use his speed.
The Daine Laurie try in the first half was great to watch. Brooks & Laurie’s speed is such threat when they have a retreating defensive line.

Brooks was good tonight overall. He’s improved in a big way this year. Not sure the stats but he’s way more decisive.

His short kicking game and decision making are both back, we’re scoring points and building pressure. Also makes his tackles. Hope he keeps it going .

Cleaned up a few missed tackles as well

Big game for him against an under strength Penrith at Leichhardt. Could make or break his Tigers career IMO. Penrith will still be strong.

Lol won’t be a make or break for his career...

No doubt there would be some questions being asked about his future with us, maybe Raiders sniffing, a signature win at Leichhardt keeping our season on the rails could be big for his future at WT. my opinion.

that first half was some of the most dominative halfback play I've seen this year that wasn't by a bloke named Nathan Cleary. he looked extremely dangerous, patient and in control.

What has happened to the Brooks vigilante committee? I had to do a search to find this thread?

On temp bans. I was given one on April 5th Eels live game thread for calling him hopeless.
Now I stay out of here so I can remain on the forum.
Opinions are welcome as long as it goes with the forum hierarchy.

How would you explain the preceding 241 pages? 241 pages of Brooks love? This is the 242nd page of predominantly Brooks bashing but YOU and only you were banned. Nothing to do with anything else you did or said.

I’ve noticed a little more gusto in Brooks’ kicks lately. No more mr nice guy with that ball, it’s going higher and longer now.
Would it have anything to do with the whisperer?

Or Hastings coming?

Still waiting on happy's out of 10 for the week but as usual he's licked 1 too many toads and completely given up..quit... what a let down to his legion of fans..

If your completely honest then Brooks has always had the talent we are now seeing...the club icon in my opinion really set Lukes natural game back...
Mbye next to him has really let Luke play his natural game and its starting to show week after week...
I hope Mbye and Luke kill it in the next few weeks and this will help D.Laurie as well...
good games ahead I reckon..good on Madge for making the switches that now are showing better results...

I don't think it's a shock that the first week our forwards genuinely 'put in' (last week V Dragons), won the rucks and made a great effort - that Brooks suddenly has his best game in years.

He has many faults as have bene pointed out by all and sundry on here, but its hard playing footy on the back foot like he has for years.

Probably Flying under the radar after tipping Dragons to the girl from work. Busy trying to regain some credibility I reckon?

So if you don't like someone's opinion it should be silenced with a 21 day ban?
I didn't break any forum rules.
I don't participate much anyway seeing admin holds grudges so I'll go back to lurking.

TT, Cleary had Brooks' playing the best football of his career. I believe his coaching had a lot to do with it.
