Have you noticed how much love J. Hastings has been showing AD on Twitter?
Outside looking in, it looks like he's very excited to play with AD next year.
Where there is smoke, there is fire.
This rumour won't go away.....
I gotta strange feeling Brooks is on the way out.
How many times does a coach say, "Yeah, Nah... not going anywhere" then a week later they're gone.
Interesting times a head.
Hastings IS playing with AD next year. What’s so eyebrow raising about that?
I'm probably over thinking...
As I said, I think there's going to be movement over the next few weeks and off season and I wouldn't be so surprised if Brooks gets a deal elsewhere.
No hate though...
Just seems a likely move.
I think you are. They don’t have to be halves partners to be mates.
I actually like the look of halves pairing of AD and JH.... I think that could work.
Still struggling to see how JH fits into the team.
Not a fan of the lock idea, see how he goes though....
This thread might heat up over the off season if rumours persist.
He could take Mbye’s role if Mbye goes. Early days, but I see Hastings being another guy who can’t cement one spot. I can’t see him fitting into the halves unless there’s injuries.
It's an interesting signing.
I disagee tho, I think 6 or 7 is probably his best position. With the ability to play elsewhere like anywhere in the backline, maybe lock and second row... haven't seen him play there yet.
Hoping Mbye goes though, Jock Madden at 14 would be a upgrade on him.
Not saying 6 or 7 isn’t his best position. Is he better than the current halves though? The Brooks bashers will tell you he is, but he’s unproven at NRL level.
