If Brooks goes he needs to be smart with where he ends up. Raiders aren’t the right place for him because he will end up with Wighton in the halves and that won’t gel. He needs to go to a club with an established halfback. He is a 5/8 not halfback.

Roosters would be the perfect destination for him but I don’t know if they would play him over Walker at 5/8.

Otherwise, maybe Broncos with Reynolds or Storm with Hughes.

I have no problems with that philosophy if he is replaced with proven better. IMO this club will not survive another aborted rebuild.

Ash Taylor stays at the broncos , they don’t go into the heap they’re currently in . He has been poorly developed , and I believe if he stayed at the broncos that wouldn’t have happened as his talent was/us immense , and they’ve always been good at developing the organising type half . He went to the Titans chased the money , got the money , and ate pies for 4 years . And his NRL career is over now because of it .

Ash Taylor stays at the broncos , they don’t go into the heap they’re currently in . Worked until they took hitups and ran at the middle third , and Walters’ arm grabbing and Tuki just bouncing off stronger more developed men .

Also we just haven’t figured out where the thresholds are with holding down in the ruck . Other teams have it sussed . We are either too long or short , every week . Seriously we have Gavin Badger , how is he not on top of this . I would make it his direct responsibility to get the ruck speed right .

Because GNR he has a point to prove and has been given a golden opportunity to do so...
He was a very talented kid....immature...moved to England to work on his game and has matured well,they love him over there....it would surprise me if he doesnt do very well for us....lets just let him settle in and play first before we hang him out to dry.....

Walters doesn’t have anything, potential or otherwise. He isn’t and never will be NRL standard.

It is no coincidence that in 2018 was his best year under Cleary who allowed him to play to his strengths with the odd cuddle. Cleary obviously is able to sum up the strengths of his players and tailor his game plan to suit. I don't like what he did to our club but he was on another level as a coach.
