Who seen that tennis doco on Netflix. Would live Brooks to do a mardy fish.

What did Fish do, bash a journo? Would love to see Brooks give the drunk or Crawley a smack in the mouth.

The Rothfiled article is based on some supposed player manager, who manages a couple of players at the club (other than Brooks), and who Rothfield reports told him that the players are openly arcing up over the club's choice of Player of the Year - which by the way was awarded to Laurie AND Brooks. The players chose their own Player's Player - I wonder in how many other clubs the Clubs choice and the Players choice wasn't the same guy??
Rothfield is seriously kidding himself writing an article about this - it is another blatant attempt to discredit and ridicule the club and Brooks, which is starting to get boring.

Hope he comes out next year and kills it.
Leads us to a premiership, wins dally m and Churchill.

I hope he plays Reserve grade so Hastings can do what you described above

You know deep down that isn’t going to happen. It’s only been literally the last week or two, his bashers have finally accepted he’s not going to be shopped around. Now the next stage of grief seems to be denial that he will be in first grade. Unfortunately for you, he will be with Doueihi injured. And maybe beyond too if AD happens to slot into the centre’s upon his return.

What a crap article
As if a player manager would contact him to talk about it during the off season. Like seriously I known it’s quite but this is new level of BS he has made up trying to make himself relevant

As if the player manager would even talk to hos clients whom are signed up and say “hey whats your thoughts on Brooks getting player of the year”. The logic around even having the conversation to then having it with multiple players during an off season whilst player managers are getting ready for Nov floodgates to open and an expansion team really makes sense.

Brook cops it heaps all over the place but this is just someone bored who needed a headline to try and stay relevant this week.

Plot twist...

What if it's Luke's very own manager and he did it to agitate for a release ?

Bit of turmoil..

Interesting doco, basically he was bottom 10 most of his tennis career (happy personal life tho) then one year he snapped and did hard-core training lost a bunch on weight and started beating the top guys.

His tough training caused him mental issues tho and on one final he famously pulled out due to severe depression he got before a game.

He'd get depression attacks while playing and still play at times.

Who cares if its a nothing article or not the important thing is the media is finally starting to call out Luke Brooks for being average.

Its about time.

We see something similar playing out before our eyes with Naomi Osaka and her struggles that we first saw when in tears having beaten an aggrieved Serena Williams and suffering from fan responses within the stands instead of being able to enjoy her major achievement.

To see this thread degeneration has now sunk to a lower point again with some calling a player an "IMP" and again congratulating each other for such disgusting posting and/or immature behaviour is concerning and yet another reason some forumers no longer join us here.

Well said some people on here need to have a good hard look in the mirror

This is what you get when the club props up and rewards under performing players.

Its natural human behavior to become frustrated and turn on the player.

Others like myself havent rated the bloke for years and have been very vocal about it.

So we’re believing Rothfield when it suits now?

You could write for home and away with that type of plot twist.
