OK, sure I’ll admit he’s not the best half in the comp, but he’s our half.
How dare Brooks let Moses crab 40 meters across field and leave our defensive line staggered ! That’s Brooks fault!
Are you honestly happy with what Brooks contributes to the team ?
Are you honestly happy with our goal line defense?
Clearly our biggest issue out of yesterday imo
Yes .....but many of these issues come back to the field position the Eels start in ...the lack of defensive mental and physical fatigue the Eels are dealing with
Even if we managed to turn one of those 3 or 4 chances we had into a line dropout ..it put pressure on the Eels to defend their line 2 of the other sets they are coming off their line
We threw basically nothing at them attack wise in those first few attacking sets ...and they have all this energy and effort they can throw at us
As I keep saying , ...but many don't understand ....is if we become a better attacking side it will actually help our defence ....and yes our defence is bad
Our defence isn't going to get much better ...sorry we are undermanned on the edges and the young fellas can't cope
But the attack can improve heaps ..and if we can get a few extra sets and get sides coming from far deeper in the half it will help our defence ...if you watch our defence it is at it's worse in our back 30 ...if a side only gets 1 tackle a set in our 30 instead of 3 it makes a huge difference and will relive the pressure ....and it also creates space for our defence to scramble ..something we were actually pretty good at last season .....
