Sheens has had a lot to do with Brooks. He visited his home to sign him up as a youngster. Perhaps it is my age but to me this is a not too subtle appointment.
Maybe, but he would not interfere with the NRL team unless invited, he would know and understand this. In fact, I would think Kimmorley would be the sounding board for Brooks.

I'm pretty sure Sheens does not have oversight of the FG side in the new role and no power or review capacity over Madge.
