Cleary had no problem getting the best from Brooks. We have a coaching issue and if Pascoe has not been on the phone advising Maguire that his tenure is finished he is letting down all WTs' supporters.

Brooks is a good half but does not have that X factor that we all expect him to have. Sometimes I feel like he's just going through the motions and haven't got enough instinctive play.

He’s a poor half .. being great a tackling means nothing if he can’t convert great field postion into points or repeat sets

Any halfback can play well when their team is rolling forward and dominating. Great halfbacks can turn momentum around for their team when they're behind

DCE and Cleary did it yesterday. Both teams were behind and their kicking games and game control helped them get back into it.

When we go behind brooks goes into his shell and doesn't try anything! A good halfback would force some repeat sets, kick a 40/20, do SOMETHING to try and turn the game. Brooks did nothing!

Brooks needs to just run hard...playing the "organiser"is just not his forte.
Only 2 years ago he was halfback of the year,but Madge has got him playing a very different style,and it never has worked
Hastings will play that role next year,and we'll have to fit him in as Cowboys and Raiders wld have completely lost interest by now

Full season TT... I expect them to improve with a full season under their belt... COVID didn't help.

Yes maybe Im to harsh on the kids...but they have been given NRL contracts based on their ability and potential...all that shows me is they are very,very green and to blame the coach falls on deaf ears...they are in the big league,they need to produce big games ,not give in to pressure...they should learn how to deal with pressure by playing above what they think their level is...its how you get better....

You think other clubs would be pushovers knowing this. They’d squeeze us for every dollar. Maybe he gets shopped around for the final year on his contract. Not next year.
