He needs to go, he doesn't know how to take control of a game. At times you can see he doesn't know what he Is doing, staggering and stop-starting across the field. No one around him knows what he is doing so the attack completely breaks down.
It was Farah's fault for dominating attack. Then It was Marshall's fault for not letting him control the team. Now they are gone and it's the coaches fault. Easy to see the Common denominator

I think you'd find someone for Brooks, maybe you have to pay some of the contract but he's got talent. As others have said, his big problem is mental weakness and I think on a team where there's not so much pressure on him and a new start he can turn it around. I think he'll actually be a really good player somewhere. I've come to the thinking that there's too much baggage and the wrong place for him here. I think Canberra, Broncos, Newcastle and Titans would be good places and would be filling a gap for them.

Enough is enough. This team is not going anywhere without a quality halfback and he IS NOT ONE!

If we go back in time..Brooks and Moses were our golden future and it was Robbie and Benji stopping their progress so the geniuses decided Benji had to go..and he did. Next Moses throws his toys out of the cot and takes Teddy and Woods with him. We are left with Robbie and what happens next ..Robbie over rules Brooks so he gets shown the door. We end up with Brooks the saviour and what has he done . SFA. Imagine where the club would be now if they had made the rookies earn their stripes before dumping players that were the fabric of the club and would have provide leadership everyone is crying out for. Players that understand the history and play for the jersey first. This year we needed on field leadership and creativity . We had absolutely none. Imagine if Benji had been given a final year to guide the team around the park..sure his defence was always suspect (and was from day 1) but given the record number of points we leaked this year would he have been a more of a weakness than those that defended for us in 2021? Bottom line. Ultimately, the coaches and club chose to disrespect and get rid of exactly the type of players it has needed for the past 3 years to grow and develop the roster and are asking for us members and supporters to wait until 2023 and beyond to develop the same again..again

The one constant since we've last made the finals is Brooks being our halfback. Blame the players around him all you want, but I'm watching Souths v Penrith and Marshall is playing for Souths and Eisenhuth + Momirovski are doing well for Penrith.

Obviously the latter 2 aren't world beaters, but are clearly good enough to play a part in a great team. But nope, unless we surround Brooks with the immortals, we haven't given him a fair go and we need to give him another 150 games.

Literal garbage. Maybe as good as someone like Drew Hutchinson? 4th choice half for the Roosters lol.
