Luke Garner

I've been happy with his form one of the few players who can make a dominate tackle. Makes an impact off the bench.

Very effective coming off the bench. If he keeps it up he should start with Offa to lock and Twal in the prop rotation.

He was poor at the start of the season but then he started defending well and now he is adding some great runs to his game. He is going great.

Starting to get consistency in his game. I don't mind him coming off the bench... But not a fan of ofa at edge if I'm being honest.

He and Musgrove are on report so we may not have to worry about their selection next week.

Well I think we will worry because we need them both on deck next week

Nothing in either tackle
IMO

but it’s us so who knows

Garner's was nothing so I'd be surprised about that. Musgrove will get suspended imo. That big potato loves a good head slap and the NRL have already given him a few suspensions for it.

Both good to play, both got fines not suspension.

Needs consistency before I'm sold... and gave away that late crucial penalty, I wish our guys would cut these dumb individual plays out.

It was a dumb penalty, but if the other players dropped off the tackle he would have won us the game.

I agree mate but the flip side of that which I'm tired of is the individual trying to make the glory match-winning play and it back-firing.
If that trio just concentrate instead on working together and getting that player to the ground in the corner and it's backed up by a good defensive set that can win us the game too.
The individual plays are awesome when they come off but always seem to cost us when they don't.

I like him when he's committed - often he's not in a game. Had plenty of chances but unfortunately not consistent enough for us. Knowing our ex-players, probably will go well if he goes to Manly

I literally think nearly everyone can! go he is way to inconsistent. A flat track bully tbh. When we are going we'll he's a star if we are struggiling he gets found out. I think he is a good player but really needs an awesome team around him.

Not good enough, imo.
I like him but yeah our back row is our weakness and he's one of the reasons why.

Need upgrades in this position as well as centres.

100 percent agree with both thoughts.

I'm over Garner. Sure he runs a good line, but when the going gets tough, he's nowhere to be seen.

I'd prefer to target some tough bastards from the bush, along the lines of Liam Martin, Yeo, Finucane
