lol I think our investment in Makasini would be a stumbling block. Plus both Kit & Luke are reportedly signed so think they will give it a good crack over there.

I reckon he comes back in 2 years . He’s a walk up start there , and with Tino and Herbert , even Skelton , maybe in a couple of years Lanyon pushes through … it’s tough.
If he establishes himself there I can see the club using it as a development pathway , and getting kids like him back .
It sounds like he got a really good deal to be honest . Good luck to him .

It’s just a shame for him to be leaving even if it’s for only 2 years as he was always talented young player and is now just starting to have the confidence to show he belongs on the NRL stage on a permanent basis.
Based on the recent media article, he doesn’t really want to leave us and is only going due to getting a more lucrative contract than we was offering him.
IF Luai leaves, we would have more money to pay someone like Luke.
I know the deal with Perth is done and it’s near impossible to get out of it, but he’s becoming a very important part of our team and wondering if they would consider letting him get out of his contract if we offered up another valuable player, maybe someone like To’a ?

I hope so, his game against the Raiders was top quality and he is still only 19.
