Luke Lewis leaving Sharks....

Lewis….. this guy is a burnt out hack! Finally this club is moving in the right direction and the signing of injury riddled old hasbeens is hopefully over. Happy New Year Lukey boy enjoy the ESL.

Lewis is definitely fighting father time. Big risk he is going to spend most of his time either on the sideline or carrying injuries limiting his impact.

Standards are pretty high if a current origin back rower who still performs well at that level is a hack.

Injury risk yes, ability risk no way.

I'd take him, why not. We have no back row for crying out loud. What will be the combined total games for our back row next yr, assuming that Halatau won't be there. Would be flat out pushing 80\. If Lewis was fit, he could still offer a hell of a lot.

Luke Lewis would be a handy guy to have at the club for two years especially if the Sharks and their salary cap are helping us.

I really doubt if this has leg as you would imagine most horse trading is done and dusted before xmas, but you never know. I did read some where, that he was sighted down in the shire and looked about 80kg and not that fit, maybe a flare up of his previous illness.

Anyway I think he could offer our kids plenty

He would be a great pickup if the price is right.

We are lacking in the back row and experienced players. He ticks both these boxes.

Looks like you're still enjoying New Years Snake…

Lewis will probably be the best forward in our team should we sign him.

He's a footballer and at 31 not at all past his peak. Would be a perfect signing for sure.

Happy, it was noted at the WTs that Blair had a very positive input to the younger guys playing prowess, irrespective of what people thought of him as a player…

Lewis would also have a very positive input to their developement if he was to be with us...

Have heard Lewis sidelined himself from a few games that cronulla were keen for him to play.

Says more about Cronulla than it does about Lewis IMO.

If it was the best news how come we still don't seem to have any additional money to buy a decent player?
