I’d be 100% behind Maguire if our team were showing signs of getting better defensively.

The one indisputable fact is that we are getting worse.

We are now in that part of the draw where everyone is saying we will get a few wins. I’m not as confident.

You can see why Madge has been playing AD in center. Our stocks there are poor. A few more key additions to the roster to firm up our defence on the edges with a centre and backrower and we might be going ok. We don't have an issue scoring points.

This is an interesting point, @jirskyr has frequently highlighted the disparity between the Top 2 teams and basically the rest... in the particular post I read anyway. It emphasised how teams like the Bunnies and Roosters have also suffered blow outs. Manly in Rd 1 and Raiders against Roosters in Rd12 (?) was also mentioned I believe.

Maybe, and if WT were only scoring the 15 and a half point difference a match from there, we would be further down shaking hands with the dogs.

I suppose there is plenty of entertainment at our games with 52.3 points served up.
