Don't understand his decisions.

Every week Liddle gets exhausted playing 80 and Madge either leaves him out there or uses Mbye, an awful dummy half, instead of a young talent in Simpkin

It's clear as day thay Doueihi and Luciano can't defend together - yet he continues selecting them next to each other

Our attacking and defensive structures are just awful. They play like under 10's most of the time it's just terrible

Luciano clearly can't play 80 but Madge never takes him off for a breather because he wasn't playing Blore, who has barely done a thing wrong any time he's played first grade.

They get the basics wrong so often, the most simple crap they stuff up what do they practise at training.

Some of his team selections this year have been very strange too. Doueihi centre? Joffa second row? Dropping Stefano?

We've had the same issues all year and he doesn't do a thing to fix it! He also keeps dropping kids who do nothing wrong

It's not all Madge's fault but he has to cop SOME of the blame here. Love his passion and all that but he's struggling.

Of course it’s his fault.

Losing games I mean, not all his fault as the players need accountability too, but he's making mistakes

Players are crap but he’s absolutely useless as a coach. Hopeless.

You can’t stick with Maguire after this loss. We’ve been a rubbish team for years and regardless of the new rules and all that crap, we have gone backwards. There is zero excuse for that loss. We played a team that had lost 7 in a row and had at least 8 regular first graders out.

I wish I could live in la la land like Lee and Justin where nothing matters.

Watched the presser...Madge has no idea. He just has nothing left.

I have a group of men in there who are ..................yawn. Sorry, not that speech again.

They had no idea what to do under pressure. They have not run a well constructed 5th play almost all year. Those are your job Macguire.

3 years....simple facts are Cleary, who I despise, was vastly better.

Madge inherited a 9th place, almost 50% team and has them in the 30s.

I just think Madge doesn't have any ideas. With Taylor and Cleary we would still turn up on weeks with a weak roster but tactically execute a good game plan.

I feel for Maguire and think he has something as an NRL Coach. He has won a comp so he must do something right, but don't think he is the person or honestly knows how to get us out of this.

The players appear lackadaisical especially after half time. What he says to them at half time does not work. As previously mentioned, the results he achieves from his halftime motivational speeches is similar to a dose of valium.

Cleary "tactically" was probably the best Coach we have ever had. He took a garbage roster almost to the semis. Unfortunately, he panicked and just signed anyone he could to assemble a roster. Cleary's 1 year we are still feeling the effects of his. The last 3 years are as much his fault than Maguires.

Every Madge supporter is saying he needs more time, what the hell for.
He can’t attract talent, and can’t coach the ones he has brought in.
So how is next year going to be any better, is Madge suddenly going to inspire these blokes, I don’t think so.
He will have basically the same blokes next year, so what will change, nothing will change, only our slide down the ladder will hit rock bottom

Hard to disagree. Bulldogs and Broncos will be better next year. Can’t see where the improvement will come from this team.

When would you expect movement in terms of the coaching position if the WTs sack him?

Cleary is the only good coach we've had since Sheens. Potter comes second.

Potter got a raw deal by the back office. Never had a chance in those days. It could have been worse back then and we know what that looks
like now.

Thought Potter was good. Given no chance at the club though.

Players make good coaches - and we will be camped in the bottom half of the comp until we somehow assemble a roster capable of competing whether Maguire is sacked or not.

Cya Madge, thanks for the hard work with juniors, but time to step down.

No point if it's just him.

If Madge goes then also- Lee,Pascoe,Mbye,Nofa, Tamou, Brooks, jet,bj and all the rest of the players that do not improve ever....

Let me preface this by saying I am a supporter of Madge’s goal of focusing on a whole club uplift but his views, vision and energy isn’t being portrayed by the players.

This season feels so much like 2016 and we made such the wrong call to put the squad through a whole off season with JT as coach only to be dropped 3 weeks in.

I will never forgot how the Cowboys were joint last after 5 straight loses and as soon as Neil Henry is announced to be not going on another year all of a sudden they win 8 of their last 12 to make the 8...

Not a man manger, not a tactician, not a motivator, I am not sure what he is.

I am pretty sure it is not a first grade coach.

Bring Siebold in as an assistant, that should get him on his way & save us a payout.

Madge was lucky we played the warriors tonight because if that was Any top 6 team it would have been 60 more points put on us , he may survive the punt only for that reason

Well its Madge thread, i would clean out all but a few players. Don't really have that option.
Move Lee or Pascoe on probably doesn't change our onfield results at all.

Been a big supporter but we have shown nothing but a decline for 3 years. Whatever his style is isn't working. Move him to some other general football position he just cannot be head coach

i prefer cleary over madge. madge style is yell and work them till they drop then they will play well becuase they are the fittest. but at least he is not buying expensive rubbish we will be stuck with for 5 years

Work them til they drop? Pffft. That's what they need.
