With another coach we might have signed JAC and DF. Ah well, shoulda woulda coulda. A new coach will at least give some hope that something good could happen next year. As it stands I reckon wooden spoon. No hope.

That’s what signing Madge was supposed to do. Rinse and repeat. The next will be a lamb to the slaughter, just like Potter, Taylor and Madge.

'They stuck to the plan in the first half'. If there was a plan that we stuck to in the first half then he should be sacked.

That is laughable, there was no structure in attack, we had near 70% of the ball and could only manage 10 points. The Warriors bombed a host of chances, we all knew if they got an even share of possession in the second half we would lose, Madge is delusional

This club is poison. Had all sorts of coaches over the years. Even our best coach could only manage 3 finals series in 10 seasons.

when you read it like that...that's a very confronting statistic, that clearly suggests there is something very fundamentally wrong at the core of this club.

Yep, JAC would’ve won the game for us tonight.

I think Madge was a desperate rush move when IC, a good coach, forsake us ? But I understand

Yeah probably. Bulldogs will beat us next year with Madge. Quote me next year.

we lost laurie so its not madge fault. we are already limited in quality and when we lost laurie thats makes us equal to wariors and thats shows on field. would be different if laurie was still in

At least Sheens would get us to 9th. I'd be really happy with 9th next year

Remember those glory days of 9th. I should have cherished those times more than I did.

Don't understand his decisions.

Every week Liddle gets exhausted playing 80 and Madge either leaves him out there or uses Mbye, an awful dummy half, instead of a young talent in Simpkin

It's clear as day thay Doueihi and Luciano can't defend together - yet he continues selecting them next to each other

Our attacking and defensive structures are just awful. They play like under 10's most of the time it's just terrible

Luciano clearly can't play 80 but Madge never takes him off for a breather because he wasn't playing Blore, who has barely done a thing wrong any time he's played first grade.

They get the basics wrong so often, the most simple crap they stuff up what do they practise at training.

Some of his team selections this year have been very strange too. Doueihi centre? Joffa second row? Dropping Stefano?

We've had the same issues all year and he doesn't do a thing to fix it! He also keeps dropping kids who do nothing wrong

It's not all Madge's fault but he has to cop SOME of the blame here. Love his passion and all that but he's struggling.

FFS. Jesus .... Laurie made us lose to the warriors. You need to find a new sport

I can’t even find the words to respond to your stupidity....

Ditto

No mate it doesn’t make it even, they lost half their team before the game, RTS, AFB, Tohu Harris, Harris-Tavita, Egan, Ah Mau, Murchie, Townsend, Fusitua plus some back up players.
That was inexcusable, Madge has no excuses for that game, or any other pathetic showing this past 2 years

I get the reaction. That's a more embarrassing loss than when we lost to the Baby Broncos and the media is going to ride us for a long time, but I still don't think sacking Madge makes our club better. I can't offer any justification except that he shouldn't be judged on the results of this year. It's ugly as hell with little hope, but next year is when I'd judge him, and I think our credibility as a club will only be more shot if we dump him before he's had a chance out of the Cleary salary cap mess.

Are u serious?
3 years.
We are getting worse every week.
We will get lappedby the ugly dogs next week ion this performance. Sad but true!

Then we can hear his great wisdom of’ebbs and flows’.
Please....v

Of course it’s his fault.

Losing games I mean, not all his fault as the players need accountability too, but he's making mistakes
