Madge reported sacking must be true, Fox staff writers are reporting it:face_with_rolling_eyes:

Caryanis and Chammas are who the front office leaks through. It’s done.

Our only options for a coach are bring up our nsw cup coach , ESL or flanno out of those options who are we taking ? left of field and ill probably get dragged for this but what about matty johns ? Hes spoken about coaching before hes one of the smartest footy minds out there is a halves specialist just throwing ideas around

@Snake 2 of those 3 seasons were cleaning out Ivan's scrap heap change of culture doesn't happen over 3 years it takes a while to happen too many people are happy to call for the new coach which is going to set things back another 10 years

Packer and mbye are still being paid by WT. Wouldn’t surprise me if Reynolds is to. Even Bellamy would have failed in Madges set of circumstances, in fairness, he never would have even tried.

No To Green, no to Flanno and not wrapped in the idea of a ESL coach. Certainly doesn’t leave to many options.
For me it has to be Ciraldo, but if he has said no, what can you do.

This is what the newspaper article advised which to me is not a no -

There is little doubt that the Tigers want to speak with Ciraldo. He has indicated he won’t pursue any opportunities until his commitments with the Panthers end, which will happen within the next fortnight.

Im sure im not alone when i say im sick of this merry go round of coaches but its much easier to get rid of a coach then it is players but i think its about time the board have to answer to some problems happening at the club. Our problems are a CULTURE problem not a coaching one if anything madge is the bloke to build a culture at the club

A coach that is moved on after 3 seasons of failure is not a merry go round it’s common sense he just did not work out !

Snake every coach that has been here has failed.
This is the problem. The issue I have is using a coach like Madge or Dean Pay to get results out of a long term development plan is pointless.

Call it for what it is he had no chance and then when the salary cap mess was cleared and some players were developed we buy another 3 years with a new option.

Hopefully they get it right but past track record tells me it’s an ass covering exercise. If Madge, Pascoe, Hartigan and lee are removed then I can see they are serious.

Pascoe.........the guy that keeps overseeing this stuff yet seems untouchable.

Let’s see how long after the COE is opened if Pascoe is not also moved on just a hunch !

So he’s probably copping what at least half a mill per year so he can cut a ribbon. FFS.

I thought you were keen on Morris?

I am and Ciraldo appears also to be a very good option. We're blessed with choice!

He never would, doesn’t need the stress but he was a Tigers supporter as a kid.

So who goes with him because the dumbest thing this club could do is pretend that after a review our failure lies at the hands of Maguire alone.

If we sign one of those pommy coaches, my god. Not only are we looking to the ESL because we can’t attract players, but now it’s also cos we can’t attract a coach. If those are our only options, stick with Madge.

Wolfe could be good

Agree, he would probably be my pick. God record with Pasifika players.

So what happened to the players going in to bat for madge? if this is the case the board clearly dont care about the players opinions

Or... it's yet another fabricated article trying to generate clicks. There is literally nothing of substance in that piece.

Madge's demise is not due to the inability to establish a culture. The word is done to death in sports and business.

His demise is due to a lack of performance/improvement especially around our defence.

Saw on the telegraph article he’s coached the most games for us second to tim sheens. Pretty damning for him really when you can see the decline every year

By players you must mean the 2 that needed him to stay so made a fuss in the media.
Who knows what the others said.
People lie all the time to save their own skin.
