Not giving it your all on an ANZAC Day game is as disgusting and disrespectful as it gets IMO. Was hard not to smash the tv when Brooks said "we just didn't turn up today".

Then The guy that did not turn up today is the first selected every week .. Moses was crucified for tanking well does Brooks and few of his mates get a rails run?

Before the season began, we were predicted to finish towards the bottom of the ladder.

A lot of people thought we'd challenge for the 8, including myself. Our roster isn't as bad as our results suggest.


Our roster IS that bad.
For the last 10 years the same people (mostly) are in denial of this and predicted we would be top 8, often top 4!
It's as unrealistic as Bulldogs fans who thought they would make the 8.
Heart over head, or something like that...

I'm pretty realistic about us as a team and haven't been confident of making the 8 for years. In saying that, I think our roster is a lot better than our results suggest. It's the best roster we've had in quite a few years imo.

Our current squad unfortunately would react more positively to a softly-softly, bum-patting coach. The soft as butter style fairy coach like Ivan.

Moses tanking and Brooks just not being up to being a quality NRL half are seperate discussions. Moses had the talent when he was at WT.....just had the heart of a pea and a toddler's personality when he didn't get his way. Brooks puts in, just doesn't have the skillset nor the confidence to be great.

No this is the coaches doing Brooks and a couple of others needed to be playing Reggie's this week !
Spoon feeding these individuals will and probable is the coaches down fall ..the coach is not tough at all his selections each week prove that .

Its interesting that the 3 who had contract extensions (Nofa/Musgrove and Brooks)were 3 of our absolute worst on Sunday(albeit in a crowded field).That says something about the culture.What are these guys thinking...?
Id drop Brooks particularly in a heartbeat...get those eggshells out!!
Seperately,the LAST thing we need rite now is another demanding empathy free coach like Farah helping out..we need a man manager to assist.Maybe John Morris for rest of season as attack coach...?

Just off the top of my head Musgrove Roberts and MCK were far worse than the 3 you mentioned not that they played particularly well

Jock Madden is not ready for first grade hence we signed Hastings as competition for Brooks we tried to get him here this year couldn't so 2022 it is

Ivan's approach seems to be working for the Panthers.

I was optimistic, based not least on my hope that our centres would return to their best form. Haha I was deluded. Our younger signings are the makings of a great team. Just not this season.
