Well actually Madge has a positive win record im basically every column - 56% as Kiwi coach, 58% in finals matches, 51% all NRL career, 75% in UK Super League.
So technically he's a winner, even despite the abysmal 38% win at Tigers. However name me the coach with a positive win record at Tigers... I'll save you the research: there isn't one.
You say Ivan impressed you but he and Madge have basically had the same Tigers career so far - Ivan won 18/43 (42%) and Madge is 21/54 (39%). Madge inherited Ivan's mess, Ivan arguably inherited JT's mess, but Tedesco, Woods and Slimey didn't leave under Madge's watch.
