It was pretty obvious in the dressing room prior to the game the players weren't listening to him. That's the end for Maguire.

Yeah, very noticeable. He gave a rev up, he even demonstrated the old 'find your shoulder' technique...and not a single one of them bounced up. They all looked half asleep.

Walters have the Broncs the same speech and some of them were bouncing off the walls after it.

His style just does not work anymore. They need a coach who can improve their techniques and offer real game plans.

They must have listened to his half time speech?
The Rabbits are a top 4 team, there backline is far superior than ours, surely no one thought these last 4 games were winnable?
We have half a team full of kids and some who are just cruising, I mean our little FB was our best player for us today? Getting rid of the bludgers won't be easy atm.

You are delusional, we have conceded 154 points in our last 3 games, including 40 in one half, Madge has lost the sheds, and lost the plot, he needs to go now.
We are no superstar side, but we are far better than the results, seriously mate are you related to Madge

I think we’d struggle to get someone else to coach. Why would u

I don't, Flanagan said in commentary yesterday he was keen to coach again, and Morris would jump at the chance, Madge is cooked, throw him to the curb

Fine.give flanno a go. He needs about 24 ew signings

I don't think so, our team would improve a lot without any signings under him, the players would play for him

Our backrowers are the biggest cats I’ve seen. No desire or intent whatsoever

Grow up with the name calling, if you can't see the crap efforts from the players are putting in, then you don't know the game?

Of course he knows the game. Madge signed the players, yet can't get them to perform.

You’re really clutching at straws. We scored points once the game was over and south’s clocked off. We were atrocious. He’s lost the playing group. He’s done

We'll see.

Unless he is willing to drop players he is useless as an NRL coach.

Simple.

End it.

It is simple, I have a list of who to drop, but WHO do you bring up, we are still in the race for top 8, getting harder to be sure? Remembering we have a bye next week? Then we have a some easier games (if their is easier games) coming, all is not lost yet?

That’s the biggest problem isn’t it. Who do you bring up from reserve grade that will do better? He’s got little to work with and many in the side know it I reckon.

His only saving grace is all the junior stuff and stuff with the aboriginal community

But the way the first grade squad respond to him and team selections is unacceptable

Madge can only sign players that are dumb enough to want to come here.

Those are discards and people wanting to play for a better contract elsewhere.

It's not Madge's fault.

Lets sign Flangan up and then sack him half way through a contract. How much deeper can the Tigers dig this hole? Deep enough that they get removed from the comp or merged again?

BTW, Flanagan is a salary cap cheat, a drug cheat and and was caught breaking the rules about coaching the Sharks when he was suspended. Winning by cheating is not the same as winning by coaching.

Oh yah and Morris has proven he can attract players?

Flanagan? Might attract some druggies.

There is no better coach available than Madge. None that can 'attract' these players you're talking about.

The players need to go, not Madge.

And lol would people drop the no accountability BS.

Madge has chopped and changed a thousand times - then it's oh we have no stability.

Ebbs and flows my guys.

That defensive display in the first half was nothing to do with player or attitude. That was coach drilled defensive structure that was absolutely woeful. I have not once called for the coaches head but that first half display show Mag has no idea what he is doing.

Ridiculous, Madge is still the man for mine on 2022 and 23.

The line speed is pedestrian and edge defense is garbage.

I saw wingers at center and not manning up in numbers.

Still, the team avoided the cricket score.

We need the cattle.

Post match press conference pretty accurate today - "we were garbage". Visibly frustrated and will definitely be looking at the team for the next game. He was critical of the line speed and thinks it is more to do with attitude from the players at the moment.

Went into a bit more background on what's happening to rebuild the club, but yeah, he was filthy.

Scary thing is it is almost a guarantee he won't drop anyone...despite the rhetoric, which he is mastering.

Blown away by Parra
40-0 down after 30 v Storm
26-0 and gone early today...

Yet he won't change the pack...

Nofa absolutely slaughtered defensively...yet he won't drop him.

Brad Arthur dropped a much bigger name in Ferguson for two weeks of bad reads...McGuire won't leave out Nofaluma even if he lets three in a week.

"I need to find the guys who are hungry"....zzzzzzzzzzzz same old speech coach...

How about actually back it up for once.
