This has a sense of credibility for me. If it is true, I'd stick with Madge and get rid of Brooks, Nofo and Liddle. Thank goodness Mbye is gone. Shouldn't be too hard to find a home for Brooks and Liddle but we might have to cough up a fair chunk of Nofo's pay.
I have been slowly changing my mind on Madge. I'd let him have next year on the basis that a big improvement is needed for him to keep his job beyond 2022. That would almost certainly mean making the top 8.

I sincerely hope this is good mail. Brooks and Nof should be first out the door because it’s now beyond a coincidence those 2 have outlasted every single coach.

1 out of the 4 gone and would not care if the other 3 went this offseason either.
I say Madge has done all the hard work so give him a shot with some salary cap space and see how we go. Players are not and should not be bigger then the club in my eyes.
A lot of the younger talent come here knowing Madge is the coach so that is a good thing.

Brooks struggled with the ball in hand but his effort especially in defense was always on. Against the Bulldogs he was chasing people on the otherside of rhe park. Madge promoted Brooks to captain. If he was butting heads no chance Madge puts him as captain or Brooks just stays in his lane. I don’t really buy that one outside of Madge trying to make him play a style he doesn’t play. The heat on Brooks has been huge.

Nofa for sure something was wrong all year with him, his leg drive didn’t exist and he kept going infield instead of straight. His offloads and tackle bust dried up as well. He was going at fellow players during games also. I could imagine he would say something.

Liddle also put alot of effort in he just isn’t an 80min hooker & his strength running just vanished. Madge signed him to a longer deal during the season. Would be strange considering he had an offer from the Bulldogs that he would stay if he hated Madge.

Why would he select those players every week for 3 years straight. Sounds like innuendo and hearsay. Farah played his guts out for this club yet Taylor had no problem dropping him. Sounds like a last ditch plan to save Madge's job.

Does another coach help recruitment or are the club prepared to ride the media barrage for a rebuild. These are the real questions that matter.

We need to accept we will end 10th at best next year. Does a new coach buy time for leadership?

My take is simple if you can get Ciraldo or Ryles with Sheens in charge you have to make the move. If not it makes no sense to pay out a coach and sign any English coach, Flanagan, Morris.

Get rid of players that don’t want to be here no matter the names and cost. Build with the players that will play hard and bring through kids. It’s a long term play but there’s no way out of this.

There isn’t a team in the world where some players don’t hate the coach. Many of Bill Belichicks players left and would never come back.They had leaders for years in the playing group. We are in a vicious cycle leaderless, have a lack of talent and brand is damaged and can’t recruit out of it. This is where leadership need to be asked real questions. Documentaries, leaking to media, saying we are a finals team and anything less is unacceptable.

They need new leaders in the front office more than anything else.

Who would have thought Brooks and Noffa involved in white anting, Noffa would go crying straight to Lee who more than likely was the one who got that certain winger his inflated ridiculous contract.
I still believe we need to move on from Madge but I would also be in favour of moving on from those two players in particular also.
