Madges team

I think Madge’s team will have Api and Dylan Walker in it. I don’t think Farah will get a start next year. Madge was forced to pick Robbie over Cook he has seen the outcome first hand. Does doesn’t like hookers that play footy and Walker is highly priced with one year to go. This may pave the way for Foran.

Back line and halves are predictable unless there are injuries.

In the forwards I can see Taylor and Eisenhuth falling out of favour with Matterson the tacklebot coming in on the right edge. If they do then Twal is probably the best fit at lock. His body is young enough to take the extended minutes in the middle week in and week out whereas Matulino's minutes will need to be managed over the course of the season.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Mikaele on the bench early in the season (Maguire blooded Musgrove early and stuck with him) and I think at least one of the remaining roster spots will be a first grade prop.

8\. Packer
9\. Farah (I can't see him going straight for one hooker and Liddle will offer more in the impact role from the bench)
10\. Matulino
11\. Lawrence
12\. Matterson
13\. Twal

14\. New prop signing
15\. Mikaele
16\. MCK (covers the backs or otherwise comes on for impact on the right edge with Matterson to lock to spell Twal)
17\. Liddle

1\. Mbye
2\. Nofaluma
3\. Marsters
4\. Momirovski
5\. Thompson
6\. Reynolds
7\. Brooks
8\. Twal
9\. Farah
10\. Packer
11\. Matterson
12\. Lawrence
13\. Mikaele
14\. Matulino
15\. MCK
16\. Garner
17.Marshall

Tapping Benji, Taylor, McQueen, Rochow and even Farah would win my respect.

If he thinks they arent part of the solution why waste time on them.

Benji in all likelihood will only get game-time if Grub breaks down again throughout the season.
Elijah makes 50 tackles a game and slows the ruck down, his attack has suffered due to his workload in defence but he still offers value for his defence alone.

Farah will be needed big time again if Liddle can't sustain long minutes and consistent week to week footy, injuries are still a question mark with the young fella.

Rochow and McQueen (unless he finds some form of a few years ago) are surplus to our needs.
Hopefully Madge might be able to bring 1 or 2 quality players to our club, could live with Dylan Walker as our centre but not sure he is any better than a fit and firing Mahe. Mahe offered quite a bit in his first few games for us but wasn't the same after returning from his injury towards the back end of the season. If he can get super-fit he will be a weapon for us in 2019.

1\. Mbye / Smith
2\. Nofaluma / Thompson
3\. Marsters
4\. Momirovski + Fonua
5\. New Signing
6\. Johnson (I think Reynolds will return to the Dogs) + Gamble
7\. Brooks + Marshall
8\. New Signing
9\. Liddle + Farah but can’t see Maguire picking him
10\. Packer
11\. Matterson
12\. Lawrence
13\. New Signing + Taylor but can’t see how he fits in under Maguire
14\. Matulino + Rochow
15\. Twal + Clark
16\. McQueen (gee I’d like to see him regain his form but here’s hoping) + MCK + McIntyre
17\. Aloiai + Eisenhuth + Mikaele

Not another coach who doesn't like Farah? Our club won't be out of the headlines for long it seems, if at all :brick:

I agree with Farah he offers the most out of that group. Taylor on the other hand is on the slide, id be shocked if a coach of Maguires quality couldnt bring a better value back rower to our club.

Its not all about the players you move on, its about opening up a space for guys with a bit more upside you can bring in.

I think its important to realise this a Premiership winning coach! Not some chump like Jason Taylor.

I mentioned 5 players, Reality is he may only be able to move on one or two in the time frame.

I wouldnt be surprised if Mcqueen had a much better season in 2019\. He was coming off a neck injury and didnt have a good relationship with Ivan. He has much better relationship with .adge and even when he was released to the Titans he spoke really highly of Madge plus he shoukd get his confidence back. I can see him comoeting for that 3rd bench spot with cheekam

Doubt he'd tap Marshall and Farah with just a year to go just not renew them again if they wanted to go round like the previous coach the others possibly…

More importantly how much these guys are used during the season will say more...if Farah and Marshall feature prominently rather than backing up the other options...

But way to avoid answering the question

I answered it.

**He is a premiership winning coach not some chump like Jason Taylor.**

It would take a lot more than him not getting rid of some dead wood for me to start criticising him.

We havent even played a game yet!

Haha you didn't really… You said he'd need to do something to earn your respect...
You can be critical of someone you respect
