Anyone here from the old old old official Tigers forum (from back in 2002-04)? How you guys doing?
 
& what are your thoughts on our perennial inconsistency as a team that on paper were deemed premiership favorites?

I can be mad.

I was once the proud creater of the Stats Thread over on the first Tigers forum, had it up to several thousand posts all up.

I'm going to knock together some stats and stuff soon and give it a rebirth for you all.

Should never have been deemed premiership favourites.

The problems with the Tigers are elementary to fix. Unfortunately we don't have anyone with the intellect running the team to make these obvious changes.
 
Hi Madunit,

You obviously spend quite a bit of time on that "other" forum. So why have you come back to this forum now? How come you weren't involved here earlier?

Why does it matter though?

Surely I can post anywhere at anytime I want. Don't see why I should be denied that freedom.

Thanks for the plug, our site is becoming some sort of beast unto its own. We're currently working on Tour games by all nations, bloody big gig that one,

Also digging up full match details for all NSWRL first grade games between 1908 and 1979.

We've got a mate over in England who is doing the same for all the English club games from 1895 to 1979-80.

Not at all. I know you post regularly on League Unlimited so was just wondering why you hadn't been on here earlier. That was all. Lots of people here post on both sites, as I have too.
 
fair enough, still seems odd that it was dubbed "over there" like I was some sort of lower life form or some shit.
 
Ha! Madunit finally made his way over here. Welcome buddy. I do remember the Stats thread, it was of Epic proportions.
 
Antiskeptic! Or something like that I think it was. I bought three of their albums, pretty damn good too!

Well after a hectic few years of actual life, I've finally got all settled down and got myself a bit of time back. I've wound down commitments with some magazines I was writing match reports for, and have taken more time to do some in-depth research on the games history for articles on my blog and most importantly, the RLP site.

I figured this place wouldn't be complete without me :wink:
