LIVE GAME Magic Round v Sea Eagles

Live Game Discussion
Its a bad jnjury toll and may end season for us. It happens no point bashing reserve graders on a forum. They are doing their best. If you didn't expect a flogging you probably still believe in santa claus.🎅
I expected better. I didn't hope for better, but I still expect blokes to make their tackles and hold the footy - basic stuff first.

However not just the injury toll, it's touch footy out there for every team. Not entirely sure what's the cause but it's cricket scores almost every game, teams getting blown off the park and not even the same teams every week, e.g. South and Sharks belt a team then get smashed then belt another side.

I reckon they may need to eliminate the 6-again, because whilst it was interesting for a while, it's highly discretionary, often arbitrary, and teams have become very brittle defending back-to-back sets, especially after a run of points. It appears teams have run the data and know kust what to do if they collect multiple ole repeat sets.

I don't personally want to see teams run away with it every game. Already this round:
38-16
32-10
46-18
18-12 - - > 1 decent contest
34-8

Last week
44-12
28-12
33-30
44-10
36-12
32-4
44-16
30-18

Almost entirely one-sided matches. 30+ scorelines are standard.

I didnt ask you for life advice.

I asked you questions in relation to a statement you mate.

If its someone coming out of their own 10 metre line and they stick their hand out, is that a sin bin?

If a decoy runner goes through a gap and a player puts a hand on him, by your definition thats 10 in the bin too?

Its not just this decision, its compounded by multiple blatantly incorrect decisions throughout the game.

You can only blame the players and coach so much... today they had their issues, but even the most one eyed manly fan would concede how biased today's game was in that first half.
Sorry, but that was a blatant professional foul. Fogerty in all likelihood gets that ball first if Mason didn't throw that stupid lazy arm out instead of trying to turn and chase. Mason was pathetic all day

Some 50-50 calls went against the team but please. If we had the run of calls we would of lost 38-26.

I think the forward pack has been dominated completely the last 3 weeks. The backline isn't up to it and then reacts to the domination..

Go up with linespeed and actually hit hard.
Who are our lines speed champs and mopper-ups?

Unfortunately its Api, Twal and Samuela. Brutal player losses for us, all at once.

Best attack? Doueihi, Samuela, Jahream. Again, very tough to lose them all at once.

Losses yes, but 3 straight annihilations, not so much. Most other depleted teams give it a bit of a crack at least.
No really they don't. I swear some people aren't watching the other games this season, it's carnage for so many depleted or out of form sides.

Take Broncos for example. Really brave against us but they had at least their halves and most of the backline, but Haas and a few others gone, the Roosters and Manly racked up big scores past 2 weeks.

Manly had talented players with X factor. Speed in saab and Koula. Power in Paseka and Haumole.

We have absolutely nothing in comparison. We have zero speed. We have no one with power.

Our squad is a bottom 4 squad, but our top 17 is fringe top 8
Left nut for a Haumole equivalent. Embarrassingly superior power to anything we have.

Ethan Robert’s was good. I’d prefer his to Seyfarth playing big minutes. It’s clear he gets a bit nuts under fatigue.
Those momentum killers, most notably the Latu one really killed us. Imagine if we scored off that and it was 18-12. We would have lifted in energy. That call was horrible. They always talk about stripping action and in this case just decided not to worry about it

The Manly game yes, but the Broncos still managed 24 points to the Roosters 38. A 14 point loss is not really a thrashing and no one is putting 40-50 points on them. Maybe the Warriors will today, but I doubt it.

No team has the depth to cover that many out
Maybe not ,but other teams would have enough depth to send a team out that is at least competitive, especially with a star like Jerome in the team to start the team around... no what Jock does that. cause Ads is injured.
