With the Wests Tigers having a bye this week its the perfect chance to watch our feeder teams in action.

So get out to Campbelltown (the Magpies first real home game all year) and enjoy some tough hard footy. No video refs, no over crowding but plenty of excitement on display.

I'll be there. It's just down the road for me.

…. and no Tim Sheens and his team selections.

I just hope Balmain get some troops back for this one

You may even get extra one's….

They better let us sit on the Western side or else....

 Geo.

I was on the Western side of Leichhardt in the end.

At least the players won't be in portable changing rooms this year

I assume calling them feeder teams when they barely get a look in is what he was saying

Western Suburbs play their first home game of the NSW Cup season this Saturday May 8 at 3pm.

With Campbelltown Stadium having undergone extensive renovations Wests have been forced to spend the first 8 Rounds of the competition on the road. Despite this the Magpies have performed magnificently and sit in 2nd place on the ladder.

Wests take on their Joint Venture partners the Balmain Tigers in Saturday's eagerly awaited return home. The Tigers are the only side to have defeated Wests in 2010 and sit 1 point above them on the ladder. The victor of Saturday's game will take the outright lead of the NSW Cup competition.

The clashes between the two NSWRL Foundation Club's have developed a friendly but fierce rivalry as both sets of players compete for spots with Tim Sheens Wests Tigers side.

In some ways I miss the old clashes between Jamie Small & Chris Patterson.

That pair were always good for an old fashioned donnybrook

Probably alien. I'll get out there this week to watch both sides, should be interesting although I doubt Sheens will take notice of anyone out there.
