Mahe Fonua

It's his errors more than dropping kicks which is his problem. Poor hands leading to knock ons in the play the ball or in the tackle.

You can't promote someone who has 2-3 knock ons a game. He has won a few 50-50 penalties for su too by dropping the ball in a tackle, but they easily could have been called as knock-ons too. Needs to just keep is simple and hold onto the ball.

Mahe Fonia has broken his forearm. Requires surgery, could be gone for the rest of the #NRL season. Big blow for @WestsTigers

:bawling

While I am at it if we dont look to make the eight, we should start ESan in the second row and look to centres who can score tries with speed

Good to see Fonua's average pg ranked 5th overall.

Don’t know why so many don’t like him. I love this guy. He has xfactor. Yes he is hot and cold but I’d rather him be in the team than not

Never thought I’d agree with Donald Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon - but I do. When focussed Fonua is very damaging.

I reckon we should try him in the forwards where his handling would be less of an issue.

Feel free to explain why this is a crazy idea?

I Love Fonua. However I don't think he did enough last year to command a starting position. Now he has a set back with injury he ( and the coaches) should work out a position and train hard for it. Once his injury heals

Well…I dont think he'd get the room he needs to wind up and be as effective as he is getting our sets off to a good start if he was s in the middle

Yeah all going to be dependent on how Madge decides to play it I guess once he assesses our strengths

The loyal supporters and ummm …........ :bulb: I'll get back to you on that one

Against good opposition he is made to look average. Yes he can be a wrecking bull, but that’s once every six games. Still a good depth player, but not a week in, week out NRL outside back
