Why are we making such an easy game look so complicated ???
It`s easy to point the blame at Farah and Marshall, but the big issue is we have next to no one running the ball hard or tackling hard and everything is one out. The playmakers are only as good as the players around them and we aren`t giving them a chance. I do concede our kicking game is attrocious, it`s not that hard to kick the ball into the corners and make it a contest on the last tackle when nothing else has eventuated, but we can`t even do that, makes you wonder what they do at training ???
The big issue is a lack of aggression and a lack of enthusiasm, it`s not acceptable at this level, but what does the coach expect when these same core group of players drop off at this same stage each season and despite how poorly they play they are never dropped to reserve grade ??? We have two Premier League sides both near the top of the ladder and our Toyota Cup side is on top of the ladder, these blokes can`t do too much more to push for a first grade spot, yet don`t get a look in no matter how poorly the blokes in first grade are playing !!!
