Manaia Cherrington signs with Cronulla Sharks (James Hooper)

He has always been a Tigers fan,
Theres every chance with the anonymity available on this site that he is part of the forum or at the least be clued into what is mentioned on here.
Still no confirmation from either club.
At this stage it is about as confirmed as the mid-season deal to Panthers was confirmed earlier in the year.
 
Good player Cherry but Liddle is better and thats why the club signed him up recently for 3 years.

Cant keep them all.

Be good if Farah was around to help transition the youngster who regards him as an idol and role model.

I actually prefer Cherrington. What makes you like LIddle more? I like Cherrington's ball playing and leadership qualities. From the bits and peices i've seen of Liddle he seems like a ball runner.

We have a SOO dummy half who is contracted to us next year playing reserves. While Halatau (retiring) and Cherrington (sharks) play dummy half. Another JT masterstroke.
 
Good luck and cheerios cherry, you showing great signs keep it up enjoy your football and there should be no problems. I hope you learnt from the robbie debacle mainly dont ever trust crocodiles in board rooms. If the coach is quality the fans will know best. Keep an eye on the banners every now and then they will give you a hint.
 
Too bad June 30 has passed. We could have released Cherrington early and promoted Liddle to the first grade squad.

Good luck to Manaia at the PepSharks, he will bulk up that's for sure

As for everyone getting upset, yes it's bad news but Liddle is the future of the club, I'm sure most realise this

one year deal sounds odd, i would have thought they would lock him up for 2-3 years

thats what i thought hence i really made that bit stick out in that post.

He is really young, has some NRL experience and i'd think he can play a whole season in FG.
Im as puzzled too
