I reckon Trent Hodkinson will go back to Manly now. They need a 5/8 and he will come fairly cheap, they certainly can't afford the big bikkies now. They will have to shed a few still though - probably Lewis Brown, Hastings and George Taufua, won't be anyone of note, I reckon.

God knows how they ended up so far over the cap. Apart from the 2 Turbos, Taupau, DCE, Walker & Uate, they really don't have anyone of note. Not compared to the Roosters, Broncos, Penrith & Sharks that's for sure.

It would have been last year when they still had Steve Matai and Brett Stewart on their books on big money and couldn't get them medically retired.

Most if not all teams are playing Russian Roulette with the TPA's and the CAP...deep down they don't give a rats if they get caught, the chances of success(and the riches that come with it) far outweigh the chances of getting caught....

The sooner the NRL bans TPA the better....but how to enforce it?
