Manly Week

Guys,
Manly will roll us Thursday night.
We are not yet a 80 min football side. Not yet anyway.
To beat Manly we need a form reversal.
Do YOU see it happening.
And if they did councidently play the full eighty minutes,
then how long would that last? Week to week?
This is not about our front row.
We have to realistic my fellow forum members & guests because in this stage in Potters coaching career - the
game plan for this week should in layman term 'KEEP UP WITH MANLY'
Surely we can do this.
If we can do this Thursday night then we have achieved our weekly vision or goal.
Enjoy this coming week -because our goal is simple in Gosford on Holy Thursday.
For me anyway.

Anyone can beat anyone in this comp. it'll be very tough (esp without sauce) but we have the players to win it

afterall, the cream rises to the top.

lets test your theory this thursday night.

stay tuned folkes. I think we found a new coach.

I agree with you AHX that its going to be tough against Manly, a win against them would be a huge boost but it will also have to be well earned by our blokes who will have to play to their best for most if not all of the game. I don't think taking an attitude into the game of trying to keep up with them is the way to go, the attitude has to be to win and from the start of the game, total commitment not just keeping up with them. I also agree that we have two tough games ahead of the club.

In some ways Cunno keeping up with Manly would conversely institute playing the full eighty minutes with the will to win attitude for the entire game. We let Parra back in the match. We let Penrith back in the match. We dont as a team constitute that attitude yet. We never have. No is our chance to learn against Manly. This week.

and sorry people but the titans also played the game for the full eighty mins with the killer attitude - hence the score -
give me something better than that people.

Just by taking the field, were half a chance. If we play like we did in the first 1/2 against Parra, and do that fore 80 mins, were a chance. It would be a huge confidence boost if we could, but as much as I don't want to, I'm tipping against the tigers. Sorry, just haven't seen enough to think otherwise.

Gold Coast Just did, if they can we can.

And how did they do it ?? massive pack of forwards rolling over Manly

Unless we have some major signings happening ,we don't have the firepower and size in the forwards

Manly rarely lose 2 in a row

even if we did win we'd jag it.
We need to learn consistancy.
We've never had it in our short life.
We need to start all over again.
Looking forward to Thursday
our goal - to play 80 mins.
I"ll be grateful for that win or lose.

The Titans had a fair lead but manly came back at them, was this because the Titans let them back into the game and hence had a few lapses? or was it further evidence that manly will come at you all game? The Titans showed that getting the jump on manly and keeping their nose in front on the scoreboard worked rather than trying to catch up to manly or keep up with them.

and thats what seperates Gold Coast from Manly but yet Gold Coast won.
good points Cunno. Long time no see.
