Go was probably one of the best people ever involved with our club. Came on board when the place was a rabble and on a fast track to oblivion, and left with the place heading up. Sadly the fools who white anted her are probably still around

Interesting read bit of a slap at the in to NRL in regard to how well netball is run.

Just more political dribble from the ABC.
Marina Go responds very well to the questions.
It will be interesting to see if and when Netball Australia come out of the dark ages and have some male representation on their board, after all, as Marina put it so succinctly.. “you’re there for a reason and your independent judgment is the reason that you're there.”

That has been my issue right along .. employees come and go but to actually find out that she was shafted and back stabbed even though she was leaving showed me that there are still types on the board I personally would not feed ! And the club in general suffers from these fools having any input into the club, the blazer brigade are well and truely still sitting around the board table at our club and this is NOT a good thing IMO! And proof is in the pudding still to gutless to make a decision on a home ground .. light weights ..

In fairness, I doubt you can lay that at Marina Go. Go would have been very busy restructuring administration and given the financial problems, would have been happy to have the cheapest coach recommended by other board members who had “insight” and “football brains.”
