Has Mark Flanagan got a contract for next year or was he hear for 1 year only a very reliable player and played heaps of games this year.

Another contract with us or do you mean some other club..?
At the moment we dont have a place for him but where does he fit in if we keep him ?
Must admit he was good for us the games he played especially when we were short on troops..

It would be very stupid to let Flanno go. He's much like Skandalis: a no frills player who gets the job done.

I'd keep him. We've still got a few loose ends in our top 25 that we could let go but I'd be keeping Flanno. Very impressed with his efforts this year.

He has been playing with injury for BRET…..

Wests Tigers is pleased to announce the signing of Wigan Warriors utility Mark Flanagan and Penrith forward Junior Moors for 2010.
>
**Englishman Flanagan can play half, five-eighth and lock and will fill the utility role left vacant by John Morris. Wests Tigers have an option on his services for 2011.**
Moors heads to Concord Oval looking for a fresh start after an injury ravaged season in 2009.
>
A second-rower/prop, 23-year-old Moors played 24 first grade games for the Panthers.**Wests Tigers have an option on his services for 2011.**

Flanagan and Moors have option in the clubs favour for 2011 the way I read it

Hard decsision for the tigers and Mark to make.. If Mark were to go back to uk he could get a starting spot and be garenteed a game in top grade every week, more $$ but if he stays here he could just be playing s/cup on less money next year.. We have plenty of second rowers coming through the ranks with probably more talent then him and also looking into signing Reni. I would keep him for his utility value alone although he would go well for a team like Melbourne taking on the Dalas Johnson roll.

Dont know whether her is injured but his form hasn't been as good as it was

He's been very solid and he's been named in the second row for BRET this weekend…

Flanno has performed reasonably well in his first season out here, unfortunately he was used to bash it up the middle a bit too often which didn't suit him since he's a lightweight. If he can put on a bit more muscle in the off-season it would benefit him for sure.

I hope Moors sticks around for next season and is used in the second row where he is clearly more comfortable and effective.

I think you will find if he decides to head home the club would not stand in his way but would be reluctant to give him to another NRL club.

IMO to be competitive in such a long and grueling season you need a couple of Flanagans on your books, great back up for a number of positions and a good work ethic

I'd like to see Moors around for 2011, and especially in light of the fact that he is only 24/25 years old.

We need to be retaining and recruiting size in our forwards.

We should keep him unless he wants too much $$$. He is a good backup player at the moment. I reckon he will end up a bit like Liam Fulton. He is only 22\. He will get better and probably a bit bigger. He can play a few different positions.

a 34 year old john skandalis.id liken him more to a mark oneill

I meant in terms of ethic… I doubt he will ever be a superstar, but he has the potential to become a very valuable player for the club and I hope he is given the opportunity to make a fist of it.
