Marshall and Anasta

Luke Brooks and fellow young guys will all get their well deserved dues after that game but Marshall and Anasta shouldn't be forgotten. Hopefully Marshall can repeat that effort to close out the season.
And if Anasta could play like that every week he could still prove yet tone a handy player.
Job well done to both these guys today.

Mate, Sorry to tell you this but if 1 win makes you forget the rubbish those 2 guys have served you all year then you have a very very forgiving soul, If you want to MOVE forward you NEED to forget those 2, Move on and build a future, and that future shouldnt include Bwaith cos he was in a winning side (Due to a debut No7)

Not saying they've had good seasons. Just applauding how they played today.

Benji played as he should play each week

Anasta tried to take control of the kicking game in the first half which was average at best, Second half he went missing and let Brooks take control which won you the game, but he made a good try saver. but i wouldnt say he played well, Brooks was doing the work of a 6/8 and a halfback today

Will you ever be able to give Anasta a wrap….....

I can't give Anasta a wrap. I can give Benji a wrap. I will also state as per the whole season Benji is busting his guts out there.

I CAN give Anasta praise, and I would say his effort has been okay. I also thought he sheltered Brooks well early in the match.

Whilst neither has set the world on fire this season, the effort was on display for all to see in the penultimate play today. If they did not care, they would not have been the two players chasing and stopping a try in the dying stages.

I thought they both finally stepped up today. 20 odd rounds too late, but they finally stepped up.
I do feel as though their games today were a result of not wanting to be put to shame by an 18 year old.

Anasta was improved, and Benji played his best game in about a year.

Maybe too little too late, but they finally repaid the faith thats been shown to them, so you have to give credit for that much.

x2
While I'm not an Anasta fan, credit where it's due.

Roosters would never have made the Grand Final in 2010 without Anasta's captaincy. Must be worth some sort of a wrap.

Always said 2010 was his last good year, Since he has been very poor, either due to just being past it, or just lack of effort… Will always credit him for that fieldgoal he got for us but as for todays game, i dont see what you all saw, I thought he was average, but i guess with his form of late that would prob be considered "good"

I thought they both played well and in the past they have gone missing but not today.

Anasta chasing down Stanley was good to see as was him kicking for touch as you just knew it would go over the sideline.

I was more pleased to see the future playing together and this will see us be a force in 2015.

Just on another note, How many times has Big Ben dropped the ball over the line?
Great win but let's not forget we have the bunnies this week and they are a big step up from beating the side coming 14th.

One sub-average performance doesn't override the crap Anasta has dished out this year. Only reason he is in the team is the 2nd tier salary cap. I detest the sight of him in our jersey.

One good run from benji doesn't erase the memories the missed tackles, poor kicks, misses for touch, passes over the sidelines, running sideways and passes to nobody that we have endured for the past two seasons.
