Is it just me or has Benji really started to put his body on the line more? Particularly in defense, he's really doing a great job.

He always stikes top form when he's in this frame of mind so i cant wait to see what he does in the finals. Remember in 2005 Scott Prince became really physical about 3 weeks out from the finals and he lead us to a premiership? Maybe Benji is about to do the same.
 
And he is running more…nothing more evident in the last play of the game ...left one second...right the next..

Oh and I think his long kicking game has improved out of sight in the last couple of weeks...

IMO he has the swagger back and will be Man of the finals...
 
Biggest surprise or more like delight for me was I think it was the second game against the Raiders and he got a short ball from dummy half at full pace and charged towards the line like a forward. That may be the strangest but the most superb moment for him. Goon on Ya Benji.
 
Has been a lot better in D this year and seems to be cutting lose in recent matches Go Benji
 
Benji's body language before last night's game showed he was pumped and wanting to play, he looked determined, was talking his team mates up, looked very positive.
 
in this back end of the year i think his D has been good but in attack i think it comes down to saying thank you R. Lui…. filled the 7 void very well for an inexperienced half which is given room benji to roam and strut his stuff!!
 
He is playing more consistent football at the right time of year IMO. It's always a great sight to see him running the ball and taking the line on. Defensively he looks to have improved over the last few weeks too.
 
Benji has really stepped it up for the tigers, I am so proud of this guy and the man he is on and off the field.

I can see some serious potential in our halves for next year. (Lui is starting to make a menace himself in attack)

There has been more than once Benji has taken the ball and gone for a hitup as FRF , even the commentators mentioned his courage.He has really matured this year and has taken matters into his own hands.Yes he has made some errors but thats "Benji".
Some days i really feel sorry for Benji and Robbie when we are down on the scoreboard.They know its up to them to get the team home and out of the hole.But they can only do so much….So glad we have Ellis helping them..
 
He put on a couple of big hits with his shoulders against GC that I haven't seen in years.

Back to full confidence it would appear.
 
Yeah I think it must be confidence in his body again… but I think it could be a maturing of Benji as well because he knows the team cannot cover for him in defense anymore as they have to cover for the younger Lui...

agree 100% geo. he runs the ball alot more now.

and yeah his long kicking game has improved. i really think he's trying to set an example for lui.

but he's commitment is undeniable..

With his kicking , he did mention on Tv he has gone back to his own kicking style.. I gather the kicking coach got the boot … :laughing:
