Marsters Goal Kicking

As a centre I would probably only want Latrell Mitchell ahead of Marsters in my team but that's me..

Ironically Mitchell kicks at 73% overall which is almost identical to Marsters…maybe his miss by less or something

I think he could be a really good player but he needs to work on his downside issues like his defence and mistakes. I think we need to keep him because he has a lot of upside.

I think Marsters stats are a little misleading as we're not a team (at least in 2018) that scored a large number of tries on the wing…

We've scored 11 tries this year of which 4 have been on the wing. So 64% of tries have not been scored by wingers. Marsters kicking % in 2019 is 64%.

Couldn't that be said about the majority of players Earl

I think Jennings and Chee-Kam's tries against the Warriors we scored out wide not the touchline sure but Marsters converted those..

Does he need to work on his goal kicking …sure does but you could also say the only top goal kickers atm are Adam Reynolds Jarred Croker and an in-form Slimey...the rest are pretty much on par ..

I don't think so. His upside is a lot higher than a lot of players but his downside is pretty poor. He has big ranges in his game.

Cameron Smith albeit a pretty extreme example plays so consistently throughout the game and throughout the season.

But as we have seen since the inception of the WT's the entire club is like that apart from a few minor exceptions

It is the most frustrating thing

But that being said , if the WT's show up and play their absolute best and so does our opposition how many games do we actually win ??

None..we only win when the other team is crap..

I agree, does anybody feel confident when Esan is lining up a kick, even from close range, because I certainly don't, and some of his misses this year are unacceptable if we have designs on finals footy

Everyone: Marsters is useless at kicking, we need to buy a good kicker.
Meanwhile, Mbye is in the side and Rhyse Martin is off-contract end of year

MBye is not a good goal kicker and he already has enough responsibility being captain,he dosent need even more.

I feel more confident that Masters will kick the goal than I do of Fonua catching a ball

I have to agree with you mate, I have zero confidence in him catching a ball, and not much confidence in his ability to hold the ball when tackled either

I tend to look away when a kick is going towards Fonua
