It's all because of the bench again. As soon as Gavet, Sue and Taupau came on we ran through them like paper.

They were looking tired in the last few minutes there Farah got
Woodsy up and told him to get going. The swarm defense has been amazing, two three four tacklers to most tackles. And we have held onto the ball and put pressure on them. The score is a pass mark at best with the amount of ball a try or two more would have been beneficial, I'm worried if Souths start getting some possession and a roll on

No mention yet. Hopefully he can return as Lulia was limping late in the first half and we have no backs on the bench.

I fear we'll be run over in the 2nd half, I can't believe how well the guys have played with the short turnaround and the heat of last weekend.

Souths are a great defensive side and no Inglis doesn't make it any easier to get through their front line. We've scored as many tries on them in the first have as Manly and the Roosters managed together.

The big thing so far is the weight of possession, we've had plenty and Souths have used up a bit of juice. If we get an even share in the second half or better, we'll win this.

Nofo was also caught out badly for Souths try to be fair.

Actually our entire forward pack has been awesome.

Galloway and Woods handled the initial onslaught well.

Blair and Thompson have both been dangerous on each side of the ruck. Thompson has been very hard to put down and Blair has been bending the line.

Fulton has been cutting guys down big time. He actually buckled Luke Burgess one on one and softened him right up.

Taupau and Gavet came on and absolutely tore Souths to pieces straight up the ruck. Their leg speed is going to be a huge asset in this comp when Farah gets out of dummy half quickly. Sue came on after them and just continued their pattern.

Don't even think Ava has been on yet so we have a fresh one in the tank too.
